Our home is located three houses from the rocky beach. The sandy beach, the bird sanctuary, the village, and the general store with an informal restaurant are within easy walking distance. The historic Life Saving Station, now a beautiful home, is located at the end of this quiet street.
Children and grandchildren will enjoy playing in our pesticide/herbicide-free yard. Pretty flowers will add to their enjoyment, and the herbs are plentiful for summer salads. Book lovers take notice. We have a large assortment of books for children and adults with topics to please all tastes.
Walk to the village, order a lobster, rent a kayak, or simply visit the gift shop. After a day at the beach, relax in the outdoor shower before starting dinner on the Weber gas grill. Free wireless internet will keep you connected to the outside world if you have time. Take a walk to the Audubon Sanctuary and enjoy the birds while taking in the gorgeous views of the ocean, the rocky coast and the Wood Island Lighthouse. Watch the seals sunning themselves on the nearby offshore islands.
