Be at the beach and the Bethany boardwalk in minutes via the private Bear Trap beach shuttle which makes a stop right in front of our house (every 20-30 minutes in season.) We are just around the corner from one of the village outdoor pools and just ½ mile down the street from the main village Pavilion with outdoor and indoor pools, fitness center, locker rooms, sauna, hot tub, 5 tennis courts, playground and complimentary computer with internet access. Bear Trap Dunes has a distinctive “small town” or “village” feel, with extra-wide streets, perfect for biking or rollerblading, large amounts of open space and every amenity you can imagine, and it is located just 3 miles from Bethany Beach, convenient to restaurants and shopping. A large, very nice Super Giant grocery is just a mile away. Over 130 outlet centers in Rehoboth Beach are just 25 minutes up the coastal highway (Route 1). There is easy access from Bear Trap to coastal highway by car or bike without getting on any busy main streets.
Our home features a huge master suite on the first floor, large master bath with separate shower and jetted soaking tub, an alcove off the master bedroom has a computer workstation and printer (wired and wireless high speed internet provided.) Upstairs are a second master suite with bath, and two more bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill bath. In addition, the first floor living room, with a large TV and Playstation 3, has a sleep sofa.
The centerpiece of our home is the great room and adjoining kitchen and breakfast area. 20-foot ceilings in the great room, with 16-foot wide sliding glass doors onto the screened porch really “bring the outside in.” Over the fireplace is a 46” Sony HDTV with surround sound speakers in 5 locations.
The dining room seats 6, the oversize breakfast table seats 8, inside the screened porch is a patio table seating another 6. More patio furniture is outside on the deck, as well as a gas grille.
We have two "beach cruiser" bicycles available for your use in the garage. More bicycles can be rented daily or weekly in nearby Bethany Beach.

Bear Trap Dunes is the nicest beach community we have found, lots of amenities, convenient location with lots of back roads for biking and getting to the beach while avoiding traffic, very family friendly, and completely built out with no further construction going on.
