Our beautiful Night Heron Cottage overlooks a scenic lagoon and is only a five-minute walk from the beach.
Night Heron Park and the Nature Center are just across the street. Take advantage of Kiawah's unique character by renting bicycles to explore the Island.
There are a variety of activities available through Kiawah Island Resort: Golf, tennis, guided tours, nature programs, teen activities...too many to list! Pamper yourself with a visit to the Sanctuary Spa or eat at the many restaurants on Kiawah or close by on Seabrook.
Stroll through Fresh fields, Kiawah's one-of-a-kind marketplace, which contains a variety of retail merchants and restaurants.
Our cottage is nicely furnished, with queen beds in two bedrooms and twins in the third. We have a flat-screen TV in the family room, as well as televisions in two of the bedrooms. Relax on the screen porch and observe the wildlife that makes its home in or around the lagoon.
There are a variety of board games and a small library available in the cottage.
The classic Southern city of Charleston is only 45 minutes away. Take a carriage ride to hear about the unique history of this distinctively Southern metropolis, visit nearby Fort Sumter, sample Low-Country cuisine at the many excellent restaurants and stroll through the Market, where you will find everything from soup to nuts--literally!
There is something for everyone, both in Charleston and on Kiawah Island. We look forward to sharing our special place with you.

We are natives of Louisiana who currently live in New Jersey. We began coming to Kiawah when our younger son was 6 months old (he is now 24).

The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
Our favorite place is the porch, where we eat most of our meals (weather permitting!) and just enjoy watching the birds, the squirrels, deer, and alligators which inhabit the area around our cottage.
