My wife and I, along with our children, are nature lovers. We always dreamed of owning a log home and when we could make our dream come true, we knew this was the place. I have my own well drilling business and when there are times you need to get a way, this is the place to be.
Why the Owner Chose Minocqua
My wife was amazed at how more blue the skies and brighter the stars are in the north. It's something you don't realize until you have the opportunity to experience it. We love Minocqua and we chose this location for our vacation home because it is out of town where we can get away from everything and truly relax.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
You can enjoy your morning walks without hearing any traffic. There are many fishing lakes nearby along with trout streams. Nature trails, ATV and snowmobile trails are all within the Chequamegon National Forest. There is recreation for every season, from kayaking to biking and hiking, hunting and fishing, swimming and skiing. It's all right here.

My family just loved this place. The owners have made it more like a home than a vacation rental. It was more than what we expected. The wildlife was abundant, we saw porcupines, eagles, turkey vultures, deer, red squirrels and turkeys. Hoggie Doggies was the best place to eat for a drive in type dinner and pizza at Alexandria's was great. We hated to leave.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
