Why the Owner Chose Dingmans Ferry
I always loved the mountains since I was kid. And what better place here in the Poconos which borders the Delaware National Recreation Area with over 30,000 acres of wildlife, waterfalls, streams, mountains and being 10 mins. of the Delaware River what more can you ask. Don`t forget the peacefulness.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The minute I walk into the front door and see how open and cozy the large living room is with the fireplace and the beams running across the ceiling gives you a relax feeling. You could look out the large windows and see the deer walking around or go onto the screened in porch and sit and look at the sun rising over the lake.

We recently spent a quiet and restful week at this property. The owner was wonderful to work with, we spent a lot of time enjoying the enclosed porch, watching the deer and other woodland animals playing in the back yard. it was convenient to many Pocono attractions and felt very safe. The house was clean and well kept.

A peaceful, relaxing setting for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The rustic feel of exposed beams, loft inspired upstairs bedrooms, and open layout is very appealing. We spent a long weekend skiing and snowboarding, so at the end of the day this was the perfect “Welcome Home”. Enjoy a glass of wine in the spacious, well equipped kitchen and dining area, while you create your own culinary feast, or explore the various Pocono area restaurants. Not to be understated is the convenience of a washer/dryer after an active day. We had a roaring fire every night in the large fireplace, so throw on a log and get cozy! The snow covered landscape of lake views, white tailed deer, and other natural beauty from the back porch was spectacular.

We loved our stay at this home in Dingmans Ferry! My husband and I traveled up from Philadelphia for a summer get-away with our 2 teenagers. We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend both the home and the area in general. The home offers many conveniences, the development has a pool and lakes, and we spent much of our time hiking to and swimming at the local waterfalls - all of which are very convenient to this home. The owner is highly accomodating --- he keeps the house pristine and made many great suggestions about things to do in the area. We are so glad that we found this house on VRBO! We can't wait to come back!

After spending one of the most pleasant weeks at this superb vacation paradise in PA's Pocono mountain resort area, I want others to know just how enjoyable life in this cottage can be. This gated community property was safe, clean, very attractively furnished, had comfortable beds, was well maintained and had a fully furnished kitchen with an open floor plan --- a delight to stay in. The lake was clearly visible from the screened back porch and we really loved cooking outside and taking photos of the numerous white tail deer that roamed through the yard. The evenings were cool during the spring time so the wood burning fireplace was well used when we stayed at the cottage. Unfortunately, we didn't find time to use the pool during our stay but did make the short walk to see how nice it is. This cottage is located on a wooded and laurel covered property not far off Rt 209; the surrounding area has an abundance of fantastic restaurants, scenic water falls, nature trails, small shops, and flea markets along with canoeing and fishing in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Definitely one of the most relaxing, yet exciting and fun filled, vacations we ever had. Know that it is beautiful at the cottage when the mountain laurel and rhododendron are in full bloom but can only imagine how nice the fall leaves and winter's snow would be. We had no negative issues with the property.
