Located on a beautifully landscaped, quiet 52-unit 2-story complex, this upper-level townhouse condo is a short stroll to the pool and large ocean tiki deck. The nearby sandy beach is a great place for relaxing, exploring tide pools, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling or spotting wildlife such as whales and dolphins. Venture out for a beginners’ surfing lesson in the adjacent cove. The condo, nestled away from the crowds, is just ten minutes from Lahaina and five minutes from Kaanapali, some of the best beaches, golf, and snorkeling on the island.
With 2 bedrooms, a Tommy Bahama sleeper/sofa and two baths, this non-smoking condo comfortably sleeps 6. Why the Owner Chose Other Lahaina Properties
Beyond the fact that the natural beauty of this area and its accessibility are amazing, we chose this location because of it's 'vibe'. This property is located just north of Kaanapali (a popular tourist area) and just south of Napili and Kapalua. It has close proximity to popular destinations, but remains far enough away to maintain a quiet atmosphere - perfect for those who are looking to escape the bustle.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The view from our private deck is always stunning, as you look out toward the island of Lanai. The sunsets are epic! Being able to take a short stroll to a small, quiet nearby beach where the snorkeling is great (and it's common to see green sea turtles), makes it easy to do all your playing 'on-site'. We're also just a few blocks from shops and restaurants, which makes it nice if you want to go grab some food, but aren't looking for a night on the town. It's a family-friendly property, and the guests are respectful and friendly. Who knows, you might even become friends with someone from halfway around the world!
Great beach for families, with public parking lot (get there early!). Good snorkeling, shallow water and gentle lapping waves...
Great place to get fresh fruit and vegetables, or some shaved ice. A 10 minute walk from the condo.
Excellent fresh fish and reasonable prices. Take it with you, or have it cooked for dining in. Soups, sandwiches and sushi also on the menu. Casual atmosphere perfect for "kicking back".
This unique shopping area boasts excellent beachside restaurants and a whaling museum. Plenty of off street parking, which is free with validation.
Located at the Napili Shores condos, this inconspicuous, out of the way restaurant is a must-do for breakfast - with breathtaking views of Napili Bay. Get there early, though, because this place is popular!
Though not ideal for beginners, Honolua Bay boasts some of the finest snorkeling in Maui. The best snorkeling is on the right side of the bay, and can be accessed via a path through lush jungle terrain. Currents and surf can vary by season; pay attention to local forecast and warnings before setting out.
A charming old-fashioned general store, located near excellent restaurants, including Sansei: a must-do for sushi lovers.
A fun activity for families. This 6 mile-long trip gives riders a view of the West Maui mountains, shoreline and other local scenery. During the trip, the train passes over a 325-foot curved wooden trestle, whose elevation yields panoramic views of neighboring islands. There's also a refreshment stand in the parking lot, where they serve excellent Hawaiian Shave Ice.
A great and affordable place to rent all the gear you need for snorkeling and playing in the surf.
The closest grocery store. Stop in for those staples like chips, ice, bottled water and coffee filters. Great for stocking up so you can eat some meals "at home".

Over the past 30 years living in Washington state, our family has enjoyed many trips to Maui: one of our favorite destinations. Whether on a romantic getaway, or a family vacation with our two sons, the breathtaking scenery and relaxed pace of the island has always resonated with us. We acquired this wonderful townhouse condo in February of 2011, after my retirement from a thriving dentistry practice. It was during a trip to Maui for our 30th wedding anniversary, when we decided to take a leap of faith and buy a condo in one of the most exotic and picturesque places on the planet - and we’re so glad we did.
We believe in “paying it forward”, and it’s been deeply rewarding for us to share this special place, where our guests can build memories of their own.

We had a fantastic time at this condo. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We were close to everything. And everything was fantastic. No need to go and buy anything but food. The pictures really do it's justice. The condo was peaceful and relaxing and the rental process was a breeze. Joe has been a pleasure to work with and very prompt to answer all our questions and send tones of information. Our stay was very enjoyable but more importantly it will be memorable.Thanks Joe for sharing your lovely home with us. We would definitely recommend this place and will defintely stay with you again when we return!

My husband and I stayed here for almost two weeks on a family vacation with our 16-month old and her Grandma and had an excellent time. The condo is beautiful and fully furnished with all the amenities of home. The owners went above and beyond our expectations, providing a pack-n-play for our little one to sleep in, and we enjoyed the loft with her while her Grandma was able to have her privacy in the downstairs bedroom. Beautiful granite countertops in the kitchen and we ate most of our meals outside on the balcony watching the sunset over the ocean, listening to the waves, or watching the many rainbows (and even one moon-rainbow!). The condo property also has a great grilling area and beach access where almost every day we were able to watch sea turtles munch on the grass growing on the volcanic rocks in the water. We snorkeled from the condo beach and saw a bunch of neat reef fish swimming around as well as a few sea turtles. We also utilized the condo facility's swimming pool, which was nice. We had a wonderful time in Maui and next time we visit we'd love to stay here again. Mahalo!

My husband and I stayed here for a month, We were very pleased to find it very clean and had everthing that we could wish for. Having the beach chairs was great. From all the comments in the guest book in the condo all previous guests had a very enjoyable time here. It was lovely to sit on the deck and see the turtles and the whales every day. We did not go out much at night so the TV with so many channels was great. The sunsets were the best that I have seen since I was in South Africa. During our first 3 weeks the residents at Polynesian Shores were mainly returning folk who were there for 2 months and had been coming to this resort many times over 10-30 years as they liked the location etc. so much. The last week was manly young couples with children. Everybody was very friendly. We originally rented a car from Enterprise for one week. Due to the unsettled weather and the fact that the bus only ran every hour we decided to keep the car for a month. We enjoyed walking every morning. We had never been to a place where there were so many joggers and walkers. There is even a dedicated small lane for bikes. The condo was very handy if you wanted to walk to the Farmers Market or to the Times Supermarket. In the other direction was a nice beach and a McDonalds. We got the club card for Safeway which saved us a lot of money on groceries. Kapalua Bay was fantastic for snorkelling. Saw tons of fish and a turtle. My husband went in snorkelling from the small beach next to the condo. He said that there was lots to see but the waves were too rough for me to go in. The visiblility at several places that we tried was not too good. The best was down at a nature Reserve at the furthermost southern end of the island. Although the Tsunami did not hit Maui it did make the waves and weather very different from what we had expected. We would have so hesitation in recommending this condo to anybody wanting a relaxing vacation in a well kept condo in Maui.
