Please enjoy the tranquil ambiance of this very original setting in South Lake Tahoe. You will enjoy just walking down the street where some of the original homeowners still live. This is a very quiet neighborhood, yet right next to everything! Just minutes from the front door is beautiful Lake Tahoe and Lakeside beach. A short walk in the opposite direction will lead you to Heavenly Village, Harveys and Harrahs Casinos and Edgewood Golf Course. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds, each bedroom & the loft have their own TV, DVD and cable. The kitchen was recently updated with new appliances.
The upstairs bedroom also has a twin bed. The loft has a twin bed and a futon. The master bedroom has a queen bed, private bathroom with large shower, and sliding glass door out onto a large deck with filtered views of Lake Tahoe. The third bedroom has a queen bed.
The dining room has an oak table with leaves & chairs to seat 8. The kitchen has every utensil you could want, and all appliances including blender, mixer, crock pot and more. The living room has another futon that can open and sleep 2, two very comfy recliners, and entertainment center.
There is a large picture window to see the beautiful back yard and filtered views of the lake. The new large deck is complete with patio furniture including 2 chaise lounge chairs with cushions,(my kids prefer to sleep here), a dining table, and gas grill.

Within walking distance from the house you can enjoy: private gated beach access, lake, marina with boats you can rent, kayaks, canoes, or you can bring your own boat and rent a slip. On the private beach you can get married, eat at the glassed in restaurant, use the playground, play volleyball, rent kayaks, paddle boats,and canoes. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking, cross county skiing, swimming and relaxing on the beach. We spend many summer and fall weekends at the house with our golden retriever, Truckee.

Wonderful Lake Cottage for Christmas!

This was a great place for our family of 7 to spend Christmas-4 of us from CA and 3 from TN. Despite the fact that there was no snow and fairly warm the week that we were there, everyone had fun skiing on the man-made snow and hanging out at all the events in Heavenly Village. It was nice to walk to the village and casinos and especially around the lake. The house was clean, well equiped and had everything we needed. We only went out to eat one night as there was a full kitchen which made it much faster and cheaper to feed the 7 of us. The house was also very pet friendly for our 2 dogs with a fenced-in back yard and great walking trips to the lake. We would definately like to return here during the summer as it is also a great location for the beach and all the summer events.
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

This property is excellent for family vacations and it is conveniently located less than a mile from the casinos and shops. It is well kept and has a fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals. The cabin also has a nice size backyard for our dog to run around. This was an excellent choice and we can't wait to rent it out again! Would definitely recommend this property for others to rent out!

We had such a wonderful stay. The cabin is close to everything (walking distance) including casinos, beach, village and much more. The house was clean and inviting. The back yard was perfect for bbq'ing and relaxing. I would definetly stay at this home again!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at your Lake Tahoe home. We loved the location, close to everything. We hiked down to Vikingsholm Castle, went river rafting down the Truckee River, took a day trip to Virginia City and much, much more. Our son caught his first fish at Sawmill pond and our daughter loved the dollhouse. They loved having the loft all to themselves. Thanks again, we hope to come back next summer.

We enjoyed ourselves so much. Your home accommodates all ages and all kinds of activities. We went on walks, bike rides, played games, and enjoyed the best beach in Tahoe. Your house is so relaxing, we never went out to dinner because we wanted to stay here.
