Why the Owner Chose Agrigento
Its location is close to the town where my parents were born, Naro, a historic baroque town rich in culture and where I spent many happy summers during my childhood. My parents left Sicily in the 60's but we've never forgotten our roots and decided it was time to give something back to this generous land.

Incredible luxury and charm in a fairy tale setting!

Last summer, my brothers and sisters and I had a "roots" trip in old-world Sicily! Our culminating week was at Villa Elena. It was truly indescribable! The villa is on a mountain overlooking the charming town. Everything about it was spacious, grand and welcoming. It was impeccably clean, with a caretaker who made sure each day was perfect. There was a nearby neighbor who assisted with trips and information. The pool, bedrooms, common living spaces, recreation room were all splendid. The villa was spacious enough for privacy, and cozy enough for intimacy. Our favorite spot was the kitchen/dining area which overlooked the outside patio and garden. It was like paradise--we ate from the vegetable garden and fruit trees! We gathered here for meals and planning our day. It was also the perfect spot to host our elderly relatives who came from nearby Licata. This was truly the trip of a lifetime for us, and the Villa was a grand and beautiful host to us! The owners were lovely to work with, and the photos do not do justice to the beauty of the actual Villa. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful respite in the heart of beautiful Sicily.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

The weather has not been very kind to us and in a different villa that would have made for a less fun holiday - but Villa Elena is so comfortable and well equiped, we still all relaxed and had a good time.
