A condo Sunsuite means one big room, divided into areas for relaxing watching television, sleeping, cooking and eating, plus a separate bathroom. The previous owner's winter guest couple stayed two and a half months, and assured me they found it "delightful". And that was before we repainted and redecorated with water colors and a surfing theme complete with surfer wall mural painted by a local artist. When you reserve, ask for the lockbox code to our new hot tubs on the first floor, and newly-renovated exercise room...just in case you feel ambitious! Or take your bike and ride around the complex - there are bike racks provided for you. There is a door lockbox with key inside or you can choose a key by mail to be mailed back after your stay. Please come and be surprised by how nice a small beach condo can be, and what a view!!

As a habitual vacationer, I've rented unit after unit from different owners- Surf's Up us definitely one that exceeds its write-up! The sq. footage is very well utilized and hives the impression of a much larger unit than just a sunsuite. While we did not have our 2 children w/us thus time, it could have easily handled the 4 of us. Located on the corner helped to keep the normal outside noise down. And the view... we could not ask for a better view! The only drawback was the elevator, the unit is located at the opposite end of the long hall- so we took the stairs often, no need for the exercise facility... ;-) We had a fabulous time! Weather was great and the unit was everything we needed and more! Thanks again!!

We spent a week in July at the condo and we loved it! The area is wonderful, the condo was neat and clean and cozy and so cute! The beaches were great and private, so not overly crowded. We would recommend definitely!!

My husband and I stayed at Surf's Up from June 23 - 27, 2011. This sun suite is quiet, clean and has a wonderful view. The owner's are quick to respond to any questions and are very helpful. We recommend this condo to any couple or small family wanting to enjoy the peaceful side of gulf shores.

My husband and I celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary at Surf's Up from 13-17 June 2011. The listing description doesn't do the condo justice. It is exceptionally clean, well decorated, loaded with amenities, and has a great beach front view from the balcony. We enjoyed our early morning coffee out there every day. We stayed here 5/1 - 5/8 of this year for our one year anniversary. We LOVED it! It was perfect for just two people! We didn't need a big space and when I saw this one for the price we thought it would be great! The condo looks just as the pictures show with the exception to the beach view it is even BETTER in person! We loved to be able to sit on the couch and just turn to see the beach! The pools were nice, the gounds were kept very clean, and not too busy. The beach was clean and not crowded! We were about 15 min away from Gulf Shores; but that made it perfect because it made it less crowded at our resort. Linda was great to work with; she answered all questions I had quick and very friendly. She is very nice and respectful with all questions you have! We will definitely recommend this to friends and family and hope to return soon!!

We really enjoyed our time here. Convenient to the beach and several pools. This was a clean, comfortable stay. The owner was detailed and congenial. Pros: *This is a private and secure location. *The layout of the space allows for a refreshing sea breeze to flow through all day. *It is a few miles from the Gulf Shores' crowds but a Dollar General is convenient for beach and condo supplies. *No beach crowds Cons: *Condo is on the 4th floor and the opposite end of the building from the elevators... long walk. However, it is next to the stairs that land on the beach access... if you don't mind stairs. *Daily breezes create suction on the condo door that will cause the door to slam - loud! This was our first trip to this area and we will surely be contacting the owner again in the future. I have recommended this unit to several of my friends.

We stayed at Surf's up" the first weekend in Marcn and it was truly a beautiful condo - the pictures did not do it justice in the least! It was well-decorated, the convenience to the beach was perfect, the balcony and panoramic views were stunning, and the whole experience at Gulf Shores Plantation was a true treat. We will absolutely be in touch about going back to stay when the next chance arises and have already referred to some friends.

This is a very pleasant,quiet,efficient place to stay!! The condo is just as it appears in the pics, except that the pics don't do it justice. The view of the beach was beautiful, and very relaxing.I was really pleased with all the staff ,too. They were very friendly and quiet helpful. I would recommend this quaint little condo highly!! I hope to be back next year. And thank u Mrs Styron for letting me stay and I hope I wasn't too much of a bother with all my emails!!!
