Beautiful, well stocked condo

My husband, daughter & I spent a long weekend at this condo over Father’s Day weekend. The unit is beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. We were very impressed when we walked in and continued to be upon seeing how well stocked the kitchen was – all the tools you could possibly need. There was laundry detergent available, a few staple items and things like tupperware containers, saran wrap, etc.. things that are not common in most vacation rentals we’ve stayed in the past. Very well done! As far as the unit itself, the only thing I can think of is that a TV in the 2nd bedroom would be a nice addition, otherwise, nothing. Our daughter (and ourselves) enjoyed seeing the dear roaming the area as well. However, the one issue we did have during our stay was the loud partying down at the pool/hot tub nightly. Hours state that pool closes at 11 pm “strictly enforced”, but we definitely found that not to be the case. Thurs, Fri & Saturday nights there was a very loud group down there until nearly 5 am each day/night. This of course has no bearing on the unit, which was great, but definitely didn’t make for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Recommended for:Families with young children.

My family stayed in this condo for Mother's Day weekend and our experience was so much more than we hoped for. The condo was immaculate and very nicely designed. Everything was clean and new, and the updated kitchen and all of the new furniture was a real plus. The condo had plenty of space for our family of five, and it was very convienent that we didn't have to bring any beach/bath towels or linens. The balcony is a great size, and we ate loved having coffee and breakfast on it. The views from the balcony are fantastic also, and the sunsets are beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway or a better condo, and would definitely like to rent this condo again!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Get Away

Absolutely wonderful condo. The owner has made it very kid friendly with a pack-n-play and plastic plates and cups for kids. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, such as a mixer. It made our holiday mean easy. Very clean and very quite. My family was very much in need of some quite time together. We stayed here for Thanksgiving and just had the best time being together.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

I don't even know where to begin, this place was so perfect. I lived here for one month for the summer of 2010 and loved it. I've travelled quite a bit throughout the USA and Europe and was here to move my daughter to Austin. We needed a place to relax while we renovated her UT condo and the island was well located (50 min) from the university area. The place was newly renovated and spacious. There were flat screan TVs, a wonderful, well stocked gourmet kitchen, bathrooms were clean and new, bedrooms were comfortable and roomy, more then enough closet space and a nice balcony with plenty of furniture and the most beautiful view of the park across the lake. The pools were very nice and there were rafts in the condo to use. We played a little tennis but soon found out summertime was too hot. Behind the tennis courts was a nice place to swim and jump off small cliffs into the lake. We loved hanging out on rafts in the lake for hours! We rented boats with tubes and jet skies often and it was an easy process. The lake is not crowded and the water is warm in summer. We didn't use the spa or restaurant but we ate at The Pier many times for a quick dinner and sometimes they had entertainment. The famous Oasis restaurant is about 30 min away with multiple decks overlooking the lake. The guards at the gate were always nice and helpful and parking was underground out of the sun. OK if I have to say anything negative, well, maybe the showers could have been a little larger or there could be heavier shades on the windows to make it darker or if neighbors wouldn't party until 3am (only happened twice in one month) but none of those things would stop me from ever renting this place again. It was truely GREAT!!!! Thank you to the owners for doing such a nice job of keeping this place beautiful and comfortable. And thank you too for the selection of books and DVDs.

Vacationed: June 22-25, 2009This room looks great on the internet, but is even prettier in person. We fully expected to see Ty Pennington at any moment. An Elegant Home and Garden showroom! I want to redo my house with everything. Even though the lake is very low the view was so spectacular on this side you cant even tell.Everyone was extremely friendly. It was not very crowded and we really enjoyed being greeted by all the family of deer. We will definitely be back!

ABSOLUTLY THE BEST PLACE TO STAY. THERE CAN'T BE A NICER CONDO IN THE UNIT, BEAUTIFUL! OWNER'S ARE THE GREATEST, I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! WISH I COULD LIVE THERE!!!!!!!THANK'S SO MUCH !

This is truly one of the most beautiful and romantic get-aways I know of north of Aruba. Everything was perfect. I can't wait to get back!
