Why the Owner Chose Cayucos
My husband and I discovered Cayucos on a driving trip to San Francisco and just fell in love with the friendly people and history of this town - not to mention the breathtaking beach. It offered us the lifestyle of being minutes away from wine tasting, the towns of Cambria, San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. We have enjoyed the times we've spent there and now is the time to share it with you who wants the best accommodations when you are vacationing away from your own oasis.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The property invites easy entertaining whether indoors or outdoors for a barbecue. The 7 flat-screen TVs provides your individual choice of programming. You can enjoy playing chess, backgammon, or cards at the game table. The billiard room with its' own music and TV is great for just two or a foursome. The covered lanai is a great place for reading, doing crossword puzzles and enjoying a cup of mojo in complete privacy. When you feel more adventurous, the beach and town are just 3 itty-bitty short blocks away.

My husband and I reside in Santa Barbara,Ca. We love living close to the beach which is why we chose Cayucos to have a vacation rental home. We are both busy people-he works full time and I'm retired. Being retired enabled me to give my full attention to the complete re-construction and furnishings down to the smallest detail which took 18 months. Of course, our wonderful Shih Tzu, Pedro, kept me company every step of the way!

We stayed here last year. I am looking at a return visit and realized that I never left a review. The attention to detail in this home is fantastic. The home is perfect in every way. It is spotless, user friendly and has all of the amenities one could want. There are multiple living spaces and the bedrooms are very spacious. Everything is like new and updated. Our son was married in Cayucos so this was the ideal set up for our family. My mother-in-law had one room, brother had the other, daughter and sis the third room and my husband and I in the master. It was great to share meals together and the groom and his guys came over to take their pictures prior to the wedding. We also spent evenings in backyard living space. I would highly recommend this home!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

This property was perfect for our group. My husband made us all laugh when he said that it was the best place for a family because he could isolate himself. The game players had the little table in the kitchen, my daughter used the dining room table as her office, my husband sat in the computer nook while the kids shot baskets in the cul de sac with the neighbors and my son-in-law watched TV wherever he pleased. The walk to town and the beach is a perfect way to start the morning, loved the low key nature of Cayucos, but found great food at several of the restaurants. The house had it all, even a heated bathroom floor, and what can you say about the lovely patio with its California foliage. So, thanks for the work that you have put into this home for all of us to enjoy.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

I can not begin to describe this lovely property! The photos do not nearly do it justice. The owners have clearly spared no expense and paid attention to every detail! Each room is luxuriously decorated, and just a delight to enjoy! We LOVED using the gourmet kitchen and the Gas BBQ. From the Grand entryway to the exceptional master suite, this home is truly a masterpiece! This home has friendly neighbors, a quiet escape only steps to the quaint town and sandy beach entrance to the ocean. I really could go on and on! When you enter the home you are greeted by a fantastic front door, upon entry there are 2 spacious bedrooms with flat screen tv's, one with private balcony, one with a fireplace, and a large bathroom with double vanity, and double sinks. Full laundry room and access to the back yard. go up a few steps on th exquisite hardwood floors and you are in main living area, a huge living room with beautiful furniture, huge flatscreen, slatestone fireplace, gouurmet kitchen with cherrywood cabinets, top of the line stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and plenty of cooking amenities. leading into a family room also with lage flatscreen tv. additional backyard access leading to outdoor gas grill. head up the stairs to the master suite and be amazed! the spacious room is decorated flawlessly (as is the whole home) and a hug King size bed, walk in closet, vanity, double sink, oversized jacuzzi tub and huge shower. now, go back with me to the entry way and there is one more door...this door leads to the stairway down to the 2 car garage. In the garage there is a set of double doors that leads to a game room with pool table and flatscreen TV, then down steps to a full bathroom with shower and into a lovely secluded bedroom with cozy couch, coffee table, fireplace and large flatscreen TV that rotates. This home offers you the pinnacle of comfort, owners truly take pride in this home and we feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to stay here! We hope you choose to have the same lovely experience we did and I know you will not be disappointed! (make a point to go to the brown butter cookie shop at the end of town YUMMY!!!)
