Wonderful, relaxing place

We went as three couples and each of us had one of the great cabins. We had this whole paradise to ourselves for the weekend. It is in a beautiful setting with open fields right next to Pescadero Creek. It is just a mile from the great little town of Pescadero and 3 miles from the ocean. It is easy to drive into Santa Cruz if you want but you will probably just want to relax here. Peggy was great a provides a wonderful environment for her guests. I really do not see how anyone could not love this place. We will go back.

Fantastic place to stay or have a wedding

We've stayed here a few times and it is a wonderful place to relax. The garden is beautiful and tranquil and the accommodation is brilliant. Nearby beaches are great and lots to see and do on the coast or inland. Easy enough to get to towns like Santa Cruz or to the City. We had our wedding reception here (100 people) as well and the garden is a great place for this sort of event. Peggy knows a variety of people you can contact about catering and rentals etc so you are well looked after if you are worried about stepping out of the 'all inclusive' hotel wedding. The garden and cottages give the wedding a much more personal feel. We'd recommend this property to anyone.

Owner response:Dearest Shanette and Philip, what a pleasure it was having your wedding reception at the Pescadero Bed and Biscuit! It was an absolutely beautiful event. You are a lovely couple and your families are absolutely wonderful. Thank you and we look forward to having you as our guests in the future!

Perfect and wonderful!

My parents, sisters and I all stayed in these two fabulous cottages for my wedding week in late July. I got married at a farm a few miles down the coast but the Bed & Biscuit would be a great location for a low key and small wedding. (Peggy, the owner, is an ordained minister!) The cottages and beautiful garden and meadows on the property are even more lovely than in the listing description and photos. The cottages were clean, well maintained and had lots of country charm. It was quiet and private but the owner was very attentive to any questions that came up during our stay. The location is just outside of the downtown area as you head into the hills. Very beautiful setting. There are lots of great farms, beaches, state parks, hiking and restaurants nearby to try! I would definitely recommend this rental to others. It was truly perfect and wonderful!!!

Owner response:Thank you Sarah and congratulations! Your family was lovely, great to meet you and hope you will come back and see us again.

WOW!

My family booked both cottages on the property for a family gathering and what a gorgeous place! Lovely fenced garden with plenty of outdoor seating and beautiful flowers everywhere. Plenty of amenities, close to town and the beach. These cottages are beautifully restored on the inside with recycled redwood and stained glass windows. I would highly recommend these cottages. The innkeeper Peggy went above and beyond to make us comfortable!

Lovely Extended Stay

My husband, our dog "Blossom" and I just returned from staying almost three weeks in the smaller of the two cottages at Pescadero Bed and Biscuit. It was the perfect place to stay for an extended visit with family who live in nearby Half Moon Bay. We were reminded of agritourismos in Italy where we have stayed in the past, The setting is rural, but it's close enough to Santa Cruz, San Francisco and Monterrey for interesting day trips. It's a peaceful setting with lots of flowers and a resident horse. The owner, Peggy Walker, couldn't have been more hospitable and helpful. When we had car trouble, she helped us find a good mechanic. She picked up maps and travel books for us at AAA. She even washed our dishes and clothes for us. I highly recommend this establishment for your stay.

This place is the best of both worlds: it has the privacy of a house rental, but with the convenience of a B&B. The cabin is spacious and light, the tub is so relaxing, and the yard is lovely and filled with birds. Can't wait to get back there!

My husband and I stayed at the Pescadero B &B for our 25th wedding night anniversary. It was a magical experience. Perfect weather, perfect cozy bed, perfect coffee in the am. The bathtub was awesome and the cottage was so roomy and light. We loved it and would return again.

We spent a weekend in Pescadero and had a great time. Peggy is a superb hostess and assisted us with reservations for the goat farm and pointed us in the direction of the nearest movie theater. She also whipped up a terrific chicken salad for us our first night and assisted us in consuming a few locally purchased wines. The cabin was well appointed and full of character with an interior paneled with old barn wood. It was a great location for a relaxing weekend.

After spending a weekend at the Pescadero B&B, I can honestly say I have no complaints whatsoever! Nestled in the forests about 4 miles inland from Highway 1, the property offers a completely relaxed environment perfect for a weekend getaway. The cottages are beautifully decorated, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and Peggy, the inn keeper, has mastered being hospitable while still letting her guests enjoy their privacy. The Pescadero B&B is an amazing find!

The cabin was perfect for our weekend trip. The extra long clawfoot tub surrounded by windows to the trees and flowers was just amazing. Relaxing in the garden reading and enjoying the quiet sounds of nature was exactly what we needed.

We stayed at the Pescadero B and B over 4th of July weekend to get away from the firework noise which absolutely terrifies my dog. I was able to bring my dog and a dog I was taking care of to the smaller cottage. It was perfect. The place had just the right amount of room and we brought our Weber and barbequed outside. I noticed ashtrays outside so while smoking is not allowed, it is permitted outside, which is a rare thing in Calif. (I don't smoke but used to so I notice these things). Only place I could find that allowed animals.

The cottage is lovely. It is beautifully constructed using recycled redwood. We played softball in the pasture and music in the cottage. It is also the most resonable priced B&B we have experienced in the Bay Area.

Pescadero B&B is a lovely space with wonderful energy located on a magical road. The cottage is creatively inviting and the gardens speak of peace. I had everything I needed, I was made welcome and I felt at home.

Stayed here with some friends in May of 2009 and absolutely loved the experience. Rustic cabins, beautiful gardens, great location with lots to do nearby, and Peggy's hospitality. Highly recommended!

We spent one week-end at the Pescadero Bed and Biscuit and loved it. The cabins are tastefully furnished (loved the clawfoot tub) and we lacked absolutely nothing. We had lots of fun sitting around the table in the courtyard. Excellent place to stay! We'll be back.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway here. The bed was a dream to sleep in and the cabin is cozy and charming. Peggy, the owner, bent over backward to accommodate us and the place is an incredible value! I recommend staying here highly.
