Accommodations:  Single Family House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5+ Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

Lone Star Cottage is still available for Fall 2009, and accepting reservations for 2010! Walk to the beach, only one block away. Fully-fenced private back yard with outdoor shower and firepit, big deck in front with grill and picnic table. Off-street parking for at least two cars, no parking permit needed!

Easy access to all the amenities of Dewey Beach, or take the Jolly Trolley to Rehoboth Beach and the boardwalk. Cape Henlopen State Park and the ferry to Cape May are only 15 minutes away in Lewes.

Check in at 2 PM, and check out by 10 AM. Full weeks (Saturday to Saturday) ONLY in the Summer, please! Guests bring their own linens, towels and paper products. Don't forget the beach towels! Minimum age of 21 to make a reservation.

Cleaning fee of $55.00 per rental and 3% Dewey Beach tax. Refundable security/reservation deposit is due within 7 days of a signed rental agreement; half the rent plus tax is due 60 days prior to check in; the remainder due 30 days prior to check in.

Good dogs are considered, for an additional $50.00 each for a full week or $10 per day.

  • We had a fabulous week! Location is very convenient and easily accessed. Outdoor shower was excellent and very handy. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Croquet and bocce games in the side yard were fun for all. Excellent family location. We will be back!

  • Could not get any better!! This was a great place at a great location! I stayed last week with my sister and our families and had a wonderful time! Very kid friendly with a fenced in back yard! At the beach in seconds and great shopping in minutes! So many activities to do we could not do them all! Thanks for all of your help Ellen, we had the BEST vacation!

  • Inside of the house is lovely, and well appointed. No doubt outside will be as well when renovations are finished. Close to beach and town, very convenient.
