Charming Lake House.
For the best family vacation home in the area, look no further. This log cabin-style home is charming and quaint, and offers an excellent location for your Montana vacation. It is very comfortable, clean and it will truly feel like your home away from home.
The house offers 2 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 queen and a loft with a king bed, not to mention top of the line quality bedding for a great night's sleep. His and her robes as well as bath and beach towels are provided. The lake is great for swimming with little water traffic, is surrounded by gorgeous natural beauty and offers great fishing right from the dock. This is our family vacation home and it is completely furnished, has wireless internet access, big screen TV and DVD, a great CD selection and all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient.
The village of West Glacier is located only 2 miles from the Lake House and the airport is less than 30 minutes away. Daily flights are available in and out of Glacier National Airport (FCA) to many destinations around the world. Nearby, you will find all the outfitters needed for your stay including: hiking, horseback riding, fly fishing, white-water rafting, and helicopter tours. We have daypacks and all the picnic supplies needed to enjoy the abundant and beautiful hiking trails in the Park.
After hiking all day, you will be ready to relax and enjoy a refreshing swim out to the float dock, or just lounge on the deck overlooking the lake. You will be left completely in awe of the breathtaking sunsets and the spectacular views of Glacier Park just across the lake. You can recline in the lounge chairs on the dock or sit at the bar area and enjoy your favorite beverage. There is so much to do and see in the area, that 3 or 4 days is not nearly enough time.
Extra services are available such as catering, shopping, and housekeeping for an additional cost. For winter visitors, the house has central heat with an electric fireplace in the living room and all bedrooms. Big Mountain, located in nearby Whitefish, has some of the best snow skiing in the country and the trails are open during summer months for hiking, walking, bike riding and exploring.

We are a retired couple living in Bigfork Montana, with a small ranch raising Arabian horses. The Lake house is our family vacation and reunion home Where we also do family weddings.

Thank you, Bill & Jette, for a wonderful vacation! Touring Glacier National Park was quite the experience. Out of all the parks I have visited, including Yosemite and Yellowstone, GNP is by far the most beautiful. After a long day of touring the park, it was nice to get back to the house and enjoy the deck. To future guests....be sure to bring your camera! The photo opportunites are endless. My only regret was having to leave. See you next year.

My husband and I wanted to create the experience of Glacier as if we lived there. Jette and Bills lake home allowed us this pleasure. The lake view is beautiful. The yard and flower gardens are just as pictured. We enjoyed our meals and relax time outside on the decks watching the lake. The location is 5 minutes to Glacier National Park. Easy access to the park with all its activities yet just as easy to get home after a busy day. We enjoyed their canoe so much we have decided to purchase a Kayak so when we return we can enjoy lake 5 and Glaciers lakes on the water also. We look forward to another vacation here, a week was not enough.

This cabin is absolutely heaven on earth! We have spent a few summers at this location and it's so quaint, clean, comfortable and absolutely magical. The views of the lake and beyond are amazing. The best part is that Glacier National Park is just a few minutes away. You can spend the day hiking, fishing and visiting the park and then warm summer evenings sitting on the dock, sipping on your favorite beverage and watching the breath- taking sunsets. Restaurants, shopping and local hangouts are also within minutes, plus access to some of the best river rafting and fly-fishing in the world! If you are looking for the perfect location for your next vacation, look no further ... This will become your home away from home!

Great house, well cared for, and very accommodating owners. On a beautiful lake just a few minutes from Glacier NP and near restaurants and stores. A perfect vacation. We plan to return in 2011.
