  BEST vacation ever!! You will not find a better place on Lake Hartwell, well, any lake for that matter, than this one! It has EVERYTHING you need. The house is amazing-- very spacious with nice furnishings. Kitchen is well-stocked and everything is SO clean. A definite must for me! The layout of the house and lot are perfect for a bigger group, or just be cozy and have some much needed family-time, which was our purpose. Family room PERFECT for snuggling and movie-night with the comfy sofas and huge TV! The point lot has AMAZING views and is so peaceful and private. Sat on the rocks each morning for special moments with my son. Path to the lake winds down gradually, unlike others we saw that were straight down. We took advantage of the golf-cart rental. Nice!! The dock is the BEST ON THE LAKE! Double-slip, plenty of room to sun and fish-- and the boys never tired of jumping off the top! I was on the floats in the clear water. We loved the stereo at the dock and no one could hear us singing, whew :-) . Tubing with the boat was a blast!! Oh, almost forgot the fun ping-pong tournaments and the smores. How can I forget the yummy, special campfires!?! These owners are wonderful to rent from! They are so helpful and gracious, and answer any questions very promptly. They are the most accommodating and nicest I've ever met! Couldn't ask for a better vacation and we hope to be back again soon. Thanks so much for helping us make some wonderful memories!   Each year my family vacations at a different "lake house". We have been to Chatuge, Lanier, Seed and Hartwell. By far Lake Hartwell is our favorite lake, and by far Janice and Tim your home is the best lake house we have ever been to. The location was PERFECT, close to town but secluded from any neighbors, CLEAN and had EVERY amenity you would ever need on vacation. House was huge, the floating dock was GREAT and having the pontoon boat right there was super convenient. Kids spent the evening playing games like "Horseopoly" and Operation. This place is a little slice of heaven. Owners were very accommodating. Thanks Janice and Tim for letting us experience your lake house. We hope to be back soon.

  We had a great time at this big family house. The kitchen is great, the family room is perfect for family-movies and playing video games. The dock is all set up for fun, great stereo, floats, fishing stuff, chairs, etc. There is a sandy beach that is perfect for the younger kids. The pontoon boat is a great added bonus. The owners of the house are so incredibly nice. We loved our stay, it was a great summer vacation spot!

  We had a great time at your beautiful house. Everyone says their house is private, but it is rarely true. I was delighted to find your lake front so secluded. I really wanted to be alone with my family and only talk to them and play music without worrying about annoying others. It was so much fun! Your house has everything. Anyway- thanks again for everything. Maybe we can get away next summer and rent from you again!

  Thank you so much for letting my family and friends enjoy your lake house for the Memorial Day weekend. The house was perfect for our needs and was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock the most and the kids had a blast jumping off of the upper deck. The adults enjoyed listening to the stereo on the dock while floating in the clear deep water. We will definitely be back!

  There were 11 people staying there. The house was spacious, comfortable, kitchen well equiped. The hill from the house to the lake was steep. The garage was open so when it rained the boys could play ping pong or other games we brought. The pictures and directions were very informative. The owners were very helpful. I would recommend the property to friends but I would tell them about the climb between the house and lake. Excellent walkway but still slightly challenging. We cooked so did not have the opportunity to try any of the restaurants

  Owner response: Glad you had a nice time. As far as the slope, the saying goes, "no slope, no water". Hartwell is a Corp lake and the levels fluctuate greatly so the better the incline the better the water. We guarantee deep water all year. This is our third home on Hartwell and our water is always deep. We learned the hard way.

  My family and I spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The kids loved jumping off the upper deck of the dock and caught lots of catfish, bream and carp off the lower deck. On one of the cooler nights the kids had fun roosting marshmellows for s'mores in the fire pit. Tho owners were very helpful and responded to any needs we had. We would definitely stay here again if we get the chance. The best part is the feeling of privacy on this wooded lot.

  Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home. It was to most perfect place to rent for our families to enjoy time together. The house is as clean and neat as the pictures and the dock and boat were fantastic. You were such great people to rent from and just went over and beyond to make our stay perfect. We can't wait to book for next summer and stay the whole week. The location is ideal for us and everything we needed was at our fingertips.

  We had a wonderful week in this spacious vacaton home on Lake Hartwell. The property is situated on a very private point. The views from the house are great. The two-story dock is a great place to hang out (or jump off of) for the day. We brought our ski boat and had a slip to keep it in. The house has everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen to a large living area with flat panel tv, computer, wifi and board games. The house is a split level with a bedroom and bath for the kids on the first level, which is nice. We will definitely stay there again!

  This was our second stay and we are already booked for 2012! This is the only house we have found that has enough dining areas that we can all sit and eat at the same time! The family room is enormous with beautiful lake veiws from every window. The Dock is incredible and private. You don't have to worry about anyone being right next to you. Lake Hartwell is our favorite lake.We rented the pontoon this time and loved it! There is some very cool sandy beach islands to go to. Kids loved it. Can't wait until next year. Thanks again!!!
