We had high expectations for our week at Dana Point which were exceeded in every respect. The condo was in lovely condition, a real home from home, and the location is superb....wonderful views, 3 minutes down to the immaculate beach and easy access to the road network for trips to LA and San Diego. Highly recommended for families with or without children. Restaurant tip - Luciano's, a reasonably priced Italian with great food.

Beautiful and Impeccable PART II

Our first very positive review was for the first month we stayed at this wonderful place. Now, after three months, it has been more of the same, just spectacular! We made friends with the very nice neighbors, walked the beach literally just outside our door every day, and enjoyed sunsets while on the patio, porch, or simply sitting inside...and to appreciate how special this is, one only has to look at the crowd of people gathered every night who drive to the ocean to see what we see from every window! It doesn't get any better, and even after three months we do not take the awesome view for granted! It has been a real "home away from home" for us.

Beautiful and Impeccable

My wife and I have been been guests at Niguel Beach Terrace for many years, and we love its location. This is the first time at Sea & Sun, and it has been just wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Vida's attention to detail is great, and the ocean views from every room are spectacular. We love Sea & Sun, and hope to return again.

It was refreshing to stay in a condominium that had everything we needed for both going to the beach and "meals in" while watching the football game on the big screen. The location is convenient to Dana Point, Capistrano and Laguna Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and had the special touches that made it interesting and fun. The thing we enjoyed most was VIDA. She personalized our stay and made us feel like royalty. I would stay there again and take my family because she is trustworthy and a truly lovely person. We had quality time with our son and daughter in law and all four of us were very pleased with the accommodations.

Having spent two weeks covering thousands of miles in an RV, we just wanted somewhere comfortable for the last few days of our holiday. This condo exceeded all all our expectations in terms of quality and location. It is very well equipped, spacious and furnished to a high standard. It has a lovely view out to sea and is a 10 minute (steep) walk to a great beach. The owners also couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

We just returned from a fantastic week in California. What a wonderful vacation home! We felt right at home. The decorating of the home is "homey" yet relaxing. The kitchen had all of the essentials we could want, we used the BBQ at the condo one evening, and the washer/dryer were an extra plus for our family. There were 4 adults and 2 kids staying and we all had plenty of room for the week. Vida, was a fantastic host and left us special welcoming "presents" when we arrived. What a nice surprise! This was our first time using a vacation rental so I was a little nervous. NO NEED! Vida communicated with us frequently, answered any and all questions and it was reassuring to know she was close by if need be while we were there. The views from the condo can't be beat! What an ocean view. One of the highlights of the trip was sitting on the porch with a cold beverage and watching the sunset every evening. This place has only positives!

Comforts of home with an ocean view!!

Great stay at this lovely condo! First of all, the owner Vida was a delight to work with! She could not have been more accommodating to our travel needs and responsive. Her attention to detail made for a very comfortable stay in her nicely renovated condo. Loved the thoughtful "goodies" she left as a welcome along with ample information on surrounding activities. My 4 yr old daughter LOVED the toys she provided even though we brought her own. I was a little concerned with the condo in a larger complex but I was surprised how quiet the complex was. The location of the condo is superb.....AMAZING ocean view! Loved sitting on the porch in the am drinking coffee looking at the beautiful ocean and watching all the walkers and dog walkers! The sunset walks along the cliff weren't bad either! Didn't get to the pool or hot tub as the weather was a bit cool, but very much enjoyed the beach so close! It is a bit of a walk to and from the beach ....fine for us but Grandma took a bit longer to walk it. Really because of the steps up the hill as the ocean is not far at all. There is an elevator but it does not run in the off season (I think just on weekends) This is also a great location for sightseeing. We spent 3 days at Disneyland, which was an easy 30 min drive. If you have little one, ZOOMAR the petting zoo 5 min away in San Juan Capistrano (along with the mission) is GREAT. We would have gone to the San Diego zoo had the weather not turned bad. Instead we had great days exploring Laguna, Newport and Balboa Island. LOTS to do!! At night upon return, the beds are comfy, the towels are think and the kitchen has everything you could need to cook and relax with the family. No clocks or TV's in the bedrooms which is fine by me....your on vacation right? But if you need a travel alarm clock, do pack one. Loved having the full size laundry to throw in a load. No complaints! Just to be fair, you may get a little noise from the upstair unit, but very little and was not a problem. Wonderful Condo, wonderful location and wonderful owner.....you wont beat it!

Gorgeous Ocean Views Every Room-Funicular or Stairway to Lovely Sand Beach

My husband and I felt treated to concierge like attention to our needs and felt at home immediately. The view was spectacular with a huge ocean expanse directly in front of us, The condo was very well appointed,up to date, immaculate, with a touch of elegance, as well as sporting beachy touches and games/toys for kids.Enjoyed movies and historic news on the big screen flat T.V. Easy communication with quick responses from owner on questions. We enjoyed having the extra bedrooms , even though there were only the two of us. So we used one for a computer retreat, facing the ocean all the while, and drinking in the beauty of the area .So peaceful. Great location near everything by car. Parking close to the condo. A "winner"! Do bring your cell phones if you have out of town family and friends. Local calls provided only.

The vacation rental was just as it appeared in the photos. Everything was clean and organized for the beginning. It was nice to actually book this vacation rental with the owner and not a property management company. The owner had great communication before our trip, while we were at the vacational rental and also after our departure. The beach was about a 10 minute walk from the front door to the sand and there were alot of steps, but well worth the effort, once you made it to the bottom. The owner provided sand toys, boggie boards, beach chairs and board games for the kids. The pool was great as well. This vacational rental is on a quiet street, but the location was great just off of the Pacific Coast Highway. The views were amazing. There was ample room for me and my husband, 2 kids (ages 12 and 5) and my parents. We would like to stay here again next time we come back to California. We spent my mother's b'day at the condo..from 8 months to 81. It was perfect for all...even better than the pics. Pool was great for kids entertainment..and the toys provided kept them happy! Would like to come back when the Funicular operates daily, although it inspired us to visit other closeby handicap beaches...Location is pefect and so beautiful!! Everything and more than expected. Sunrise and sunset over ocean right out the front door. Hosts were like having a concierge service. Clean, comfortable, personal touches galore. The only problem I have with writing this review is it may mean the condo may not be available when I return.

Great Condo!

I recently stayed in this beautiful condo in September 2010 with my husband and two small boys. The place is beautifully decorated and the owner puts special care into making it feel homey with special touches throughout the home. The location is great (near the harbor and only a short drive to Laguna). There is a small hike to the beach, down several flights of stairs... down isn't the problem, it is getting back up them, but it is manageable. There is a fanicular to carry you up and down but I believe it is only operational on weekends. It is only about a half hour drive to Disneyland and a half hour drive to Legoland... PERFECT! Vida, the owner provided everything you could possibly need for a great vacation: beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, games for the kids, great TV and Blue Ray Player... everything! I would definitley stay here again and I am already looking forward to next year. Thanks!

A Dream Beach Condo

My family of 4 stayed at this cabin for 10 days in August 2010 and had a fantastic time! The cabin was clean, well stocked and spacious - located right across the street from the entrance to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever experienced. It's a bit of a walk (the beach has only foot access, no car), but worth every bit of effort for the sea & sand. The community also has a pool and hot tub which my boys (3 & 6) enjoyed as much as the beach (not as beautiful - but less walking involved). The condo is also conveniently halfway between Disneyland and Legoland - 45 minutes to each. It's a very easy day trip to both places. With palm trees in front, ocean views and a delightful beach decor - this cabin was a great experience and I would go back in a heartbeat! The owners were also very resonsive and attentive via both e-mail and phone. Thanks again!

Location, Location Location!! What a beautiful condo with all the amenities. The owners pay attention to all the details. The spacious and well equipped kitchen makes it easy to dine in. We loved our stay at Sea & Sun: We found the condo prefectly clean and in excellent condition. There were even welcome presents for our son. The booking and arrangements were easy-going and communication was working very well. The owner was very helpful in answering any questions. For us it was the prefect "home away from home" and we will recommend to friends and family for their visit of southern California.

Our property host was so thoughtful and we so appreciated the extra touches; snacks, beach towels/chairs, suggestions on area attractions and making sure we had everything we needed.

We spent a week at this vacation rental. We were very impressed with the accommodtions. The hosts went the extra mile to be sure we were very comfortable. It is a spacious condo with 3 very nice sized bedrooms with an ocean view from each room. We had excellent neighbors and the community is a well maintained beautiful area. The beach is steps from the condo with a nice park, hiking trails, and beach for daily walks. The pool and hot tub were used daily! Everything we needed was close grocery, restaurants, & attractions .We couldn't have been happier with our choice or our hosts. Would highly recommend this rental.

This condo is beautifully redone and updated. It really felt like home, the owners had plenty of extras as well - including - toys for the kids (what a nice surprise as we had 4 young kids) and beach toys!!! The views are amazing - every room has a view of the ocean! We would definitely stay here again!The owner was wonderful with some little extras as well making sure we had everything we needed for our first night as we arrived a little late. You can even walk to a few restaurants and coffee shops on PCH - in addition there are some great walking paths around the beach with excellent views. Close to the marina as well.

The condo was beautiful and the views exquisite. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night. We were fortunate enough to have excellent weather and could see all three islands every day - that was a treat!!! The condo is immaculate and nicely furnished. The kitchen is well stocked and a pleasure to work in. Overall, it was a great place to spend a relaxing week. The owners were very accomodating.

This was our first family vacation to the West Coast. The condo that we chose was perfect for our family. It is well maintained, and provided us with comfortable beds, linens, cooking utensils, and a washer and dryer. It was great to be so close to the ocean and the condo pool. We found many good restaurants, and also enjoyed our day trip to the San Diego Zoo. We would definitely stay at this condo if and when we plan another trip to the same area.

What an amazing property you so kindly allowed us to live in while our home was under renovation! As beautiful as the pictures are, the reality of your home is far more outstanding! Our family felt both at home and pampered like we were visiting a fabulous hotel villa! The location can not be beat! We loved the beach just steps away. And I really loved the access to running and walking trails. We even got to experience the start of Whale Festival Parade, just at the end of the street, which the kids were thrilled to walk to a parade! My husband and I adored every single moment there, he especially loved the huge flat screen tv in the evenings! We will recommend your property to all of our family and friends who vacation in the area- and if our renovation isn't finished soon... we'll be back!!! Thank you, again! The description provided on the site matched what we found upon arrival. The layout is perfect and it was great to have 3 bedrooms. The condo provided the use of a gas grill that we did use. The unit is well maintained and was very clean. The owner provided ample correspondence to us before, during and after our stay. It was great to deal with an owner and not a realty company if a problem does come up, but we did not have any problems. It was great to be so close to the ocean and the condo pool. Many wonderful restaurants were close by. Our family did enjoy the trip to the San Diego Zoo.

Thanks Vida and fam our stay was perfect! ...Our startup team was looking for a weekend getaway - a time to look back at our first 6 mos of operation and a to plan for the next 6. Our budget was tight but we all knew we wanted to be by the water - this place was perfect. An escape from the city/office steps from the beach. The apt had plenty of space for us all to unwind, and literally steps from the beach. Missing it already typing this review...the space is full of good karma :-)

When we got there we were pleasantly surprised with the unit which was nicely decorated and well planned for guests comfort. Owner's high standard of hospitality was clearly reflected. We thoroughly enjoyed ocean views from every bedroom and a short walk to the beach. What a beautiful place! My wife and I recently stayed here with another two couples and we had a wonderful time. The place is in amazing shape. Everything is brand new and tastefully decorated. The beach is extremely close. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful condo. No surprises here. Owner pays attention to details. Well maintained with all the extras like beach chairs and boogie boards for the kids. Spacious kitchen and gas grill on patio. Large master bedroom and bath. Access to a very nice beach. Dana Harbor close by with good restaurants. Our family really enjoyed it and would definitely rent it again.
