'Grey Rocks' Cabin rests on the shore of pristine Green Pond which is nestled in the glacial depression between the two northern fingers of Candlewood Lake.
The cabin and the original stone fireplace provide the perfect place to catch up on a book or gather with your family or friends. Our cape style home also provides a little privacy for everyone with the master bedroom and guest suites separated by the kitchen and great room.
The loft overhead is a also a great place for kids to play or two extra guests. Old Green Pond is approximately one and half hours from New York City and ideal for those who want to be in the mountains but not lose touch with the city.

Why the Owner Chose New Milford
Our family began coming to Green Pond in the late 1800's from a farm on the bottom of Candlewood Lake by horse and buggie. The spring fed lake is an ideal retreat for summer sports without having to venture very far.

The spring fed lake is an ideal retreat for summer sports without having to venture very far. Hiking in the mountains and swimming in a mountain pond or skating and cross country skiing on the lake during the winter is where the fun just begins.
