Come relax and enjoy the tranquility of this lakefront home set in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood only 50 minutes north of I-285. On this shady, wooded lot, family or friends can enjoy taking time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Enjoy the beautiful sunsets across a scenic lake view from either the house's deck, the boathouse, or around the campfire on the shore. While the kids swim and play in water safe from boat traffic, you can relax in the sun or in the shade to your heart's content on your private dock.

The house is fully furnished with an additional living space on the terrace level that has a wet bar and an additional wood burning fireplace. There are dozens of family games and puzzles for you to enjoy while spending time with your family or friends.

The hard-to-find cedar-sided boathouse is a wonderful backdrop for your vacation. Enjoy the spacious upper deck, either in the sun or under the high canopy. The lower deck also offers room to sunbathe, fish, or just be closer to the water. The dock is on excellent open water for skiing, swimming, fishing, or setting off in the canoe for exploring nearby coves and an uninhabited island. The dock is equipped with a boat lift and a wave runner lift.

Great skiing water is located right in front of the dock so you can watch your friends ski without the 'big water' waves and open enough to ski comfortably. A nearby park with boat ramp is within minutes for the ease of launching your own boat. A waverunner is available for use at an additional fee. Also, ask about the "Huck Finn" raft!

  • We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend with our 3 college age children and their friends and had a wonderful time! The house has everything you could possibly need and is so warm and comfortable. Boat dock is great for swimming and relaxing, loved the campfire down by the water. We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend to others!

  • Our family of 4 stays here every year. It is truely a family home, that has been "opened" to the public. Well loved and cared for, this home will be your new summer place too! Super clean when we got there (and clean when we left!!) The kitchen is fully loaded and includes a dishwasher. There is a grill on the deck for b-b-q, and a fun room for the kids downstairs where the washer and dryer are. Fireplace too, but we didn't need it in summer. My favorite place is the big swing out back on the terrace level; perfect for snuggling and watching the sunset. My children love to walk by the water's edge and look for treasure. Seems as if pirates might have left a trunk in the lagoon somewhere!! It is that far removed from the "hustle and bustle" that awaits in the main channel just beyond the little island. Best of all are the campfires by the water with roast shrimp and then marshmallows. No one will interupt your time to enjoy! Terrific folks, with a great house, and a touch of home while we are away from home!
