Unfortunately this condominium townhome was not impeccably maintained as advertised and we were highly disappointed when we arrived. This was no fault of Barbara’s since she doesn’t live in the Orlando area, but the fault of poor management at the complex itself. We arrived at around 8:30pm on the day of check-in, and the townhome was filthy. Trash was overflowing in the garbage can in the kitchen, the beds were not made, and there were dirty towels thrown on the floors in the bathrooms. Basically the unit had not been cleaned or the linens changed prior to our arrival. Barbara was very helpful in getting the management team over to clean the townhome, but when they arrived, they informed us that it would take them at least 2 hours to clean it. This was very upsetting because the majority of us had been on the road for about 15 hours straight that day and we were exhausted. We decided to go eat at a local restaurant and were gone about 2½ hours, and when we came back, somebody’s child was kicked back on the couch in the living room watching tv, and the condo was still no ways near ready for us (found out later that this was the maid’s child). At this point I lost it. At first I thought I walked into the wrong condo by mistake when I saw the child sitting on the couch, but soon realized that this wasn’t the case, and the first thought that ran through my mind was who was renting this condo, the maid or us? Once I found out who the child’s mother was, I then politely asked the child to go upstairs to her mother so we could have a place to sit and wait. So we sat and waited for another hour or so while the maid finished cleaning the townhome. This was once again very upsetting because we expected the townhome to be cleaned when we got back, but unfortunately to our surprise it wasn’t so we sat in the living room like a group of displaced homeless people. The condo was finally ready for us except there were still towels in the dryer, and the maid left around midnight.Owner response: The cleaning company that we use cleaned the wrong unit and when our guest arrived, the home they were to staiy in was not yet cleaned. He contacted me and I immediately called the cleaning company and the cleaning person was there in a short time. The guest went to eat and the unit was not quite finised when he returned. I tried to accomoodate the guest by finding another unit for the evening but the guest declined. This is the first time that this situation has ever occurred in the years that I have been renting. I will contact the cleaning company prior to each guests arrival that this situation never again occurs. I understand the guests frustration that the unit was not ready when he arrived. I take pride in the fact that our townhouse is extremely well kept and immaculate and I again apologize to the guest for the inconvenience. Owner

Barbara (owner) was extremely helpful and incredibly accommodating. She went out of her way to ensure that everything was all squared away when sudden last minute issues with our reservation threatened our vacation, despite being out of town herself. The townhouse was very clean, well-equipped/furnished, and extremely comfortable. The kids loved it and the adults too! The community was very secure and extremely well-kept. The property is right off US 192, just 10-15 minutes from Disney, about 8 minutes from Oldtown, and very close to Publix, Walmart, Outlets, and other shopping. It is very close to an array of restaurants and just about anything you may need. It was a pleasure using VRBO/HomeAway for the rental as well. I would definitely recommend this rental!
