Adventure abounds as you are only minutes from canopy tours, canyoning, the hanging bridges of Arenal, white water rafting, wakeboarding, windsurfing and other adventures to numerous to list.
Take it all in at your own pace or just relax in the glorious natural surroundings that the home was built to accentuate. Many species of birds, coatis, howler monkeys, anteaters and other wildlife regularly pass by the home to take advantage of the many fruit and nut trees planted on and around the grounds.

Year Purchased: 2007
Tom and Patricia visited Costa Rica for the first time in 2002, upon finding the undiscovered gem of Lake Arenal, something inside them both clicked and the spark of a dream was born. Pooling their savings they purchased an oversized lot outside the pueblo of Nuevo Arenal, with plans to build their dream home someday, in this little corner of heaven. Breaking ground in 2007 and a few rocky starts and stops later. Their dream home was finished in 2008. Still a few years from retirement they decieded to share their vision of Costa Rica and began offering it to discerning renters in 2009.
Why the Owner Chose Nuevo Arenal
Our ideal in a place that we would call our own had to have certain factors. That included ease of access, tranquility, lake access, view and proximity. We found that all on the road leaving the town of Nuevo Arenal en route to La Fortuna. As an added bonus although vacant when we bought the land, in the years since our purchase, one of the finest restaurants in all of Central America. "The Gingerbread" was constructed just beneath our home on the main road. So now we have world class dining just steps from our door, world class adventure from ten minutes to an hour from our door and world class nature, peace and quiet surrounding the home. All in all it adds up to a world class vacation from our family to yours.
