How to describe the perfect weekend getaway? Cabin was exactly as described! If luxury five star accomodations is what you are looking for, this is not the place for you. If home away from home, pure relaxation, beautiful surroundings, relaxation, serenity, walking/hiking the creek path to breathtaking waterfalls, privacy, just pure rejuvenation is what you are looking for, I hope you don't want to visit at the same time as me! Plain and simple, this cabin is the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle of life. Owners are great people that have thought of it all as well! And very easy to work with, from reservations to directions to instructions and tips at the cabin. Cat and Gary, you have a true gem here! And we will be back.

We used the cabin to stay while we went to Atlanta for a ball game and Six Flags. Its an hour drive from those events but its well worth it! Our kids loved the loft and the hike to creek was fun! We will definately be renting again, but next time will be to enjoy Jasper and cabin!

Hello Cat, I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know we really enjoyed our stay at your cabin. Very restful and quiet. We had a great time. Really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. Weather was perfect. Fantastic visit. Great weather and wonderful sounds of nature. Flowing stream added to the enjoyment. Very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was just as described. Clean and comfortable. Felt right at home. Will certainly go back in the Fall.

My family and I have stayed at the Whispering Pines Cabin Several times we absolutely love it! it is the perfect place to get away, the kids have so much fun playing in the creek and waterfalls.. I would definatley recommend anyone to stay here. You cannot beat the price either, you couldn't even get a nice hotel for that price, Great Cabin Great People Thanks Again The Evans

This cabin was definitely worth it for me and my husband and I would recommend it to anyone! The price is more than reasonable for what you get here; peaceful area, jacuzzi, creek/waterfall nearby. We will most definitely be bringing our children back one day to enjoy it with us! Awesome Place!!

My family went up and stayed the weekend.we really enjoyed the place, The creek was very cool, as was the firepit out behind the cabin. We roasted hotdogs and marshmellows on the open fire.My wife and kids really enjoyed the jacuzzi. The deck out the back porch was great for sitting out relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors. We will be going back.

This was just perfect! The weather was great for this weekend trip! Got there and open up windows to let natures fresh air in! Made sure jacuzzi was ready for the night, Then just sat out on the deck and enjoyed the atmosphere, (I was coming from Atlanta) I brought my boyfriend and he started the grill. We had a great dinner on deck and the owners provide everything you need in the kitchen, we just had to bring the food! After dinner watched a movie from the huge selection the owners provide! Then such a fun time! Sitting in the woods under the stars listening to natures running creek while relaxing in jacuzzi! We stayed downstairs that night, we left the screened door open and between the fresh night air and the sound of the running creek and the very relaxing waterbed! I had the best sleep! The only bad thing I can say about this trip is, my boyfriend wouldn't go explore the woods! The owners of this cabin offered us an incredible affordable weekend getaway from the city! And that was exactly what we were looking for! I say if you are looking for that kind of stay, you should really try this cabin! As for my next trip! I will surely be going to play in the woods and locate those rocks!

This property is the WORST place I have ever stayed. The master bedrrom was damp and smelled of mildew and the ceiling tiles were water damaged. There is a bee's nest in the loft that kept us from sleeping there and the pull out sleeper sofa is moth infested. We had to leave in the middle of the night and find another place to stay. The "bathroom" they have listed in the master bedroom is a toilet in between the washer and dryer. And then when we asked them to return our money thy all of a sudden stop responding. RENTER BEWARE!
Owner response:I refunded this guest in full for their stay. There is alot more to this story than the guest says. I have requested this guest five times to request they remove this negative comment he assures me he has sent the removal to vrbo, however vrbo states they have not received his request to remove it, this is the guests reply "I will forward you the message and re send it to them sunday night when i get home... Im out of town and without a computer until then". , I also am attaching an email from the lady who does the cleaning for me at the cabin. She went in before these guests checked in and she went back the day they checked out, and below is what she said about the cabin. From Vanessa (cleaning lady) hey well i just got back from the cabin and it had started raining, anyway i pulled out the couch bed and those people are so full of crap, there was no sign of any moths, i moved the mattress and found a penny, a half of a crayon , a peanut, and a seed.......... i used my shop vac to remove that stuff , and put the couch back in place, the sheet set for the pull out couch is on the dryer, i did not see any bees anywhere in there, i did see a very small dead beetle bug on the coffee table , and i removed it..... i vacuumed the living room again, removed and replaced all the trash bags in the waste baskets in the cabin, cause all of them had trash in them, .... i put out all the air fresheners, and carpet fresh as you asked..... i guess they were mad when they were there cause , in the laundry room where the extra blankets are and the towels and wash cloths are, they decided to unfold or throw everything and leave it all over the laundry room floor, so i folded everything back up.......... they left the inside lights on/ceiling fan......... i think they were just expecting something else and when they got there they did not want to stay there ,and wanted to make up lies to get there money refunded , i would not have given there money back! oh one more thing, there was trash all out at the garbage can at the gate, but it had started raining so i did not get it picked up this time, maybe we can figure out some type of safety container for the garbage can so that the trash does not keep getting tore up all the time.... anyway like i said before hopefully the next guests will enjoy there stay there at the cabin !!! talk to you later !! have a good weekend Vanessa !!!!

This cabin is literally the PERFECT get-away. My faince and I had the time of our lives just by the excellent location right on the river and the homey feeling of the cabin. We got in the hot tub, made a campfire, and went down to the river everyday to slide down the rocks. I have never been to a more peaceful place and i can't wait to return.

I recently took my grandson, & my grand daughter, to this home away from home! It is beautiful! Lots of things to see & do, the owners are very nice, & have wonderful things to entertain, if the weather doesn't co-operate. I have reccommended this cabin to all my family & friends! We enjoyed it very much!

My family and I have been to the cabin twice, the family that owns this cabin has done some really personal effects to the cabin, and they have kids so the place is very kid friendly. Don't pack alot if you go, the cabin has it all.They have a very good book that was designed to make you familiar with the cabin and surronding areas. The two times I have been up they have had new things. The rates are very reasonable, which allows for just a quick get away trip or the rates allow you to stay even longer than most cabin rates. You will be impressed and you will have fun.

A great secluded get away, was very close to home for us, which allowed us to just get away for 2 days, we did not have to prepare much to take as the cabin had all the ammenities we could possibly need. we cooked out steaks and relaxed in the atmosphere. you can hear the roaring creek from the cabin, the birds were singing like crazy, it was absolutly awesome. we will go back....

my 3 kids & i stayed at the cabin last week to celebrate "out of school" for the kids. The creek was a short walk down hill, we walked about one mile down the creek and there were alot of waterfalls and areas the kids played in. we could have went much further down the creek but the kids were having so much fun along the way. there were rock slides for them to slide down into the water. The walk next to the creek was the best for us, no one around for miles, just us. They had games, toys and kid movies, for those wishing to get away with their kids, this was an absolutely great place. I must find a romance partner to take back next time, as this would be the perfect romantic get away for a couple. I also took the kids to Lake Carter where we fished. The jacuzzi was very fun also, the cabin is well equipped and has very personal touches to it. check it out!

This cabin was a very nice get a way for my husband and I. It is a very peaceful retreat, the property is beautiful!!! The cabin supplied everything we needed but food. We plan on going back again in June.

My husband and I rented this cabin for some much needed R&R. The cabin was worth the drive it was very peaceful and quiet. The jacuzzi was great and the surroundings were beautiful. The creek was a short walk but very worth it. We will be back again and again!
