Our home is located in the exclusive Elks Point Country Club, the only gated beachfront community in Zephyr Cove. Approximately 1 mile off Highway 50, 2 ½ miles from Stateline casinos, shopping centers, and the Edgewood golf course. World-renowned Heavenly Valley Ski Resort is just over 2 miles away. There is direct walking or driving access to a large private beach, complete with pavilion, BBQ pit, Beach Volleyball, Horse shoes, swimming area with wharf, and a marina (slips available for rent on a weekly basis). Access to the beach is a very short walk of 200 yards. Stunning views through pine trees of the lake and surrounding mountains. Elks point is the only beach front community where you do not hear the roar of the traffic from highway 50 thanks to our location, without a doubt the most desirable beach on the NV side of Tahoe.
• Size: The house is three stories, 3350 square feet, and accommodates up to 16 people, with 4 bedrooms (and a loft) and 4 full baths, a media room and large living area a good size deck with filtered views of Tahoe and lots of sun. Please note: The lower level (4th bedroom) is a separate in-law studio with another full kitchen.
• Deck: Large deck has a Hot Tub, Dining for 6 with large umbrella, and a stainless Gas Grill.
• Full Kitchen & Dining Area: includes dishes, glasses, utensils, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, washer, dryer, coffee maker, toaster oven, pots & pans, cooking utensils, and everything you should need for your cooking. We also have a large stainless steel gas grill on the deck and outdoor patio dining area.
• Living Areas: This is the center of the house; we have a media room with surround sound and a 65” 1080P HD Mitsubishi flat screen, Play Station III, and a WII large selection of movies and games. Lots of room to lounge and enjoy the scenery. There is also another living area that includes a 42” flat screen 1080p HDTV and sectional sofa for seating, as well as a bar, and spacious office desk and printer.
• Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Master Bedroom is on the top floor with cathedral ceilings and a nice lake view and private fireplace, There is also a bunk room that includes a double bed, futon, and two twins and loft on the top floor with a full bath and steam shower. The main living area has the third bedroom with two double beds and a full bathroom. Again, the 4th bedroom is the lock-off in-law suite on the lower level with a full kitchen and bath, Queen sized bed and sleeper sofa. All bedding and linens included with your rental.
Exclusive Access / Amenities:
• Private Beach, Marina & Swimming Area: Easy access to the beach, common area beach bar-b-q (reservations available through the Elk Point Country Club caretaker), beach volley ball, horse shoes, place to store and launch your kayaks, small sail boats, etc…. roped-off swimming area with a swim platform. The Marina slips are available for rent on a weekly basis, nothing larger than 23’ and proof of insurance is required.
• Private Deck and Bar-B-Q area: Admire the lake and mountain scenery as you bar-b-q on the charcoal grill, sip a cocktail, and enjoy summer dining outside on the home’s private deck. Deck/Patio furniture included.
• Round Hill Shopping Center: Just across Highway 50, enjoy a variety of restaurants, ski, bike and kayak rentals, Starbucks, Safeway and other retail stores.
• Walking & Biking Trails: Easy access to a network of beautiful walking and biking trails through a protected meadow and up into the hills above Highway 50 are located just steps outside out community.
NOTE: ELKS POINT IS AN "OLD TAHOE" GATED BEACH COMMUNITY. IT IS A VERY QUITE NEIGHBORHOOD WITH STRICT HOA GUIDELINES. THE NOISE ORDINANCE IS 10PM, SO IF YOUR GROUP IS GOING TO BE LOUD AND PARTING ALL NIGHT THIS IS NOT THE COMMUNITY FOR YOU. THE NEIGHBOR IS ON THE HOA BOARD AND WILL NOT HESITATE TO CALL THE POLICE AND HAVE YOU REMOVED FROM THE COMMUNITY.
