If you are familiar with Sun City Grand, you know what a fabulous vacation awaits you. You can be as busy as you wish, or simply do nothing but enjoy the wonderful Arizona weather. If you are not familiar with Sun City Grand, Google "Grandinfo" to view an informational website describing all of the amenities that are available to you.
The home (an expanded Cactus Flower with approx. 1,450 s.f.) is fully furnished, so all you need to bring are your personal items and golf clubs. Speaking of golf, the four courses and two practice areas are beautifully maintained. The greens fees are the best value in The Valley! You are entitled to the Resident Rate with the purchase of an Activity Card (currently $125 per person for a 1-3 month stay; $150 per person for a 4-6 month stay; and $200 per person for a 7-12 month stay). The Activity Card also entitles you to use the vast amenities of Sun City Grand including the fitness centers, two outdoor pools and whirlpools, indoor pool and walking track, tennis, pickle ball, bocce and lawn bowling, fishing lake, library, interest groups and clubs for almost any activity that you can imagine (including quilting, weaving, beading, needlework, painting, stained glass, pottery, wood working, billiards, poker club, dominos and the list goes on and on).
MASTER BEDROOM features a king size bed, bed side table with drawers and lamp, and the television that sits atop a matching full length dresser with mirror. A cedar chest provides additional storage.
MASTER BATHROOM features a full size stand up shower with sliding glass doors adjacent to a full size walk-in closet and a second full size closet with two sliding doors. Vanity counter with magnifying mirror and vanity stool are conveniently located next to the sink.
GUEST BEDROOM is separated from the master bedroom by the living room (ensuring a second couple's privacy) and features a queen size bed with side tables and lamps, chest of drawers, and a full size closet with two sliding doors.
OFFICE (converted third bedroom) features a large L-shaped desk, leather swivel desk chair with arms and cozy love seat. Broadband and wireless internet connections are available for an additional fee - simply bring your laptop and plug it in!
LIVING ROOM offers a sectional queen size sleeper sofa and leather Broyhill recliner. The television and DVD player are hidden behind the slide-away cupboard doors of the entertainment center. A glass sliding door opens to the private covered patio and backyard with a sweeping mountain view. Enjoy grilling on the "Barbeques Galore" gas grill and relax while dining at the large patio table with comfortable padded chairs.
KITCHEN is fully furnished and features a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer equipped with cold water and ice in the door, quiet dishwasher, electric self-cleaning oven with smooth top range, and a built in microwave. A separate pantry provides plenty of storage for foodstuffs. The eat-in kitchen also features a coffee maker, toaster, garbage disposal and reverse osmosis drinking water system. A Tuscan style iron and glass topped table and four chairs provide a comfortable dining area.

Year Purchased: 2004
We were attracted to "The Valley of the Sun" by the 300-plus days of sunshine per year, so we purchased this home in fabulous Sun City Grand. The many amenities of the community, peaceful backyard setting and fantastic golf were like magnets attracting us to buy this home. As part-time snowbirds from Illinois, we enjoyed three winter seasons in this home (we spend several weeks in Arizona and then return to Illinois to catch up on work for several weeks during high season; we make about five trips per season). We decided that we wanted to invest in a larger home into which we could retire someday. We want to share our beloved first Arizona home with others, so we decided to rent it. We are the original owners of the home, we have meticulously cared for it and have furnished it with everything that you might need to have a stress-free vacation. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
