The house is a delightful airy space with lots of light, an open floor design and super setting . Everything was clean and comfortable and Tonyhai was great to work with. We found our Christmas stay in Tonyhai home in Columbia very comfortable. A decent stocked kitchen. The owners are very easy to work with and a pleasure to do business with. Hot tub with jets that felt wonderful after a day of Walking in downtown Seattle. This is a great home, in the perfect location. We came to Seattle for family reunion . We arrived to a very clean, well maintained and furnished home. Just as it was listed on the website. We will be making another trip to Seattle in the future and would love to stay at their home again. Thank you so much to Tony for answering all our questions.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We were a party of four adults and one child. We found this to be the most reasonable price in the area of Seattle we wanted to stay in when we were looking for a place to stay. However, upon arriving it was a big disappointment. When we walked in it smelled musty and unclean. Upon walking around we found there was a hole in the drywall of the kitchen, right down to the cement bricks. Several appliances in the kitchen were broken/damaged. The living room furniture was literally falling apart and the frame of one of the beds we slept in was on cinder blocks- yes- CINDER BLOCKS. There was no notebook like you typically find at VRBOs that tells you how the Internet works, parking instructions, local info, etc.... I found the wireless password written on a torn piece of paper in faded ink, taped to the desk. There were several other things that were unclean and/or broken. One good thing is that it is centrally located and easy to get in the highway. And there is off street parking for two cars. That's it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/1

I traveled with a big group to Seattle for a convention and we decided to rent a house to spend a week instead of 3 hotel rooms. That was the best idea I had in a while. The house is really big and confortable, it is perfect for any kind of group. The renter is really helpful with anything you may need. I recomend this house for everyone, and I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to seattle.Owner response: It's was my pleasure to hosting you. I am Clad that you had a great Time in Seattle and enjoyed your stay in the house. Thanks again for your business Willy.

a big house in a busy interesting Seattle neighborhood that was fun to explore. close to bus line and light rail. like many city neighborhoods there is some trash about, which for me took some getting used to. parking for three vehicles. two large decks front and back. on a clear day, a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier. house was reasonably clean and appliances for the most part newish and in good working order(upstairs vacuum needs some attention). kids loved the big bathtub in lower level. house is a little rough around the edges with a couple torn screens and a few spots of damaged plaster but that did not adversely impact our stay. we had a good time with no problems.Did you find this review helpful? This house was perfectly suited for our stay in Seattle - with numerous trips to the airport and downtown required, the location of this rental was ideal for both with a 10-15 minute drive (when there is no traffic) either way. The size of the house was also excellent for our party of 3 couples and a 1 yr. old. Large sitting area for visiting and the 3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom layout was sufficient. Advice for future renters - don't get scared off by first impression. The area appears a little rough and the exterior of the house is in need of a few repairs. Inside also has a few small handyman jobs in waiting. However, the pros of this rental definitely outweigh any of the cons. Would not hesitate to stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? 6 adults/1child stayed here for a wedding up north. House has a lot of cosmetic updates and fixes to do (water from fridge, house cosmetics, few ants, back door, clean up and etc.). House is in a great location to downtown and airport, but to get to the house driveway...you'll need to get through not so clean neighborhood. Besides that, everything else was great. Tony gave me the password just on time, self check-in was ok...preferred him with us to point out the stuff that was broken so we wouldn't be blamed, but no issue on the return deposit. Got it back ~11days after checkout. Few things were already broken and was worried that it would be on us, but no issues. Everything worked fine...tv, internet, most of the appliances, and about everything else was fine. Tony was OK on email/phone responses, no issues with payments or deposits. My family loved the place and would be great for visits or guys/girls night out, but wouldn't be a place I would take as a romantic getaway. I would come back.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Loved the house :) there was enough space for my group of 11 to sleep comfortably. There was everything you might need in a house and more. The location is perfect for all those without cars as the bus stops right in front of the house and there's a light rail only a 10 min walk away. Loved it! Not 5 stars because the area in which it's at is pretty dark but overall a great choice! Stay here :)Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The house was nice, clean and exactly what we had hoped for. A great price. It was perfect for us. I was a little concerned that there was no check in process, there was some damage to the house (a scandalously broken entry step, plaster damage inside) that I was afraid we might be blamed for. But our damage deposit was returned in full. The owner was nice enough, but it took several tries to get him to understand what days we wanted and it took way too long to get our (huge) deposit back. I suggest being VERY clear, there were several opportunities for misunderstanding that could have ended up ruining the trip. Negative for communication, positive for the place, overall good experience.Recommended for: Girls getaway.
