The house is a delightful airy space with lots of light, an open floor design and super setting . Everything was clean and comfortable and Tonyhai was great to work with. Our group of six had a wonderful time in Seattle. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

We were a party of four adults and one child. We found this to be the most reasonable price in the area of Seattle we wanted to stay in when we were looking for a place to stay. However, upon arriving it was a big disappointment. When we walked in it smelled musty and unclean. Upon walking around we found there was a hole in the drywall of the kitchen, right down to the cement bricks. Several appliances in the kitchen were broken/damaged. The living room furniture was literally falling apart and the frame of one of the beds we slept in was on cinder blocks- yes- CINDER BLOCKS. There was no notebook like you typically find at VRBOs that tells you how the Internet works, parking instructions, local info, etc.... I found the wireless password written on a torn piece of paper in faded ink, taped to the desk. There were several other things that were unclean and/or broken. One good thing is that it is centrally located and easy to get in the highway. And there is off street parking for two cars. That's it.

We found our Christmas stay in Tonyhai home in Columbia very comfortable. A decent stocked kitchen. The owners are very easy to work with and a pleasure to do business with. Hot tub with jets that felt wonderful after a day of Walking in downtown Seattle. This is a great home, in the perfect location. We came to Seattle for family reunion . We arrived to a very clean, well maintained and furnished home. Just as it was listed on the website. We will be making another trip to Seattle in the future and would love to stay at their home again. Thank you so much to Tony for answering all our questions.

I traveled with a big group to Seattle for a convention and we decided to rent a house to spend a week instead of 3 hotel rooms. That was the best idea I had in a while. The house is really big and confortable, it is perfect for any kind of group. The renter is really helpful with anything you may need. I recomend this house for everyone, and I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to seattle.

Owner response: It's was my pleasure to hosting you. I am Clad that you had a great Time in Seattle and enjoyed your stay in the house. Thanks again for your business Willy.

a big house in a busy interesting Seattle neighborhood that was fun to explore. close to bus line and light rail. like many city neighborhoods there is some trash about, which for me took some getting used to. parking for three vehicles. two large decks front and back. on a clear day, a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier. house was reasonably clean and appliances for the most part newish and in good working order(upstairs vacuum needs some attention). kids loved the big bathtub in lower level. house is a little rough around the edges with a couple torn screens and a few spots of damaged plaster but that did not adversely impact our stay. we had a good time with no problems.

This house was perfectly suited for our stay in Seattle - with numerous trips to the airport and downtown required, the location of this rental was ideal for both with a 10-15 minute drive (when there is no traffic) either way. The size of the house was also excellent for our party of 3 couples and a 1 yr. old. Large sitting area for visiting and the 3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom layout was sufficient. Advice for future renters - don't get scared off by first impression. The area appears a little rough and the exterior of the house is in need of a few repairs. Inside also has a few small handyman jobs in waiting. However, the pros of this rental definitely outweigh any of the cons. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

6 adults/1child stayed here for a wedding up north. House has a lot of cosmetic updates and fixes to do (water from fridge, house cosmetics, few ants, back door, clean up and etc.). House is in a great location to downtown and airport, but to get to the house driveway...you'll need to get through not so clean neighborhood. Besides that, everything else was great. Tony gave me the password just on time, self check-in was ok...preferred him with us to point out the stuff that was broken so we wouldn't be blamed, but no issue on the return deposit. Got it back ~11days after checkout. Few things were already broken and was worried that it would be on us, but no issues. Everything worked fine...tv, internet, most of the appliances, and about everything else was fine. Tony was OK on email/phone responses, no issues with payments or deposits. My family loved the place and would be great for visits or guys/girls night out, but wouldn't be a place I would take as a romantic getaway. I would come back.

Loved the house :) there was enough space for my group of 11 to sleep comfortably. There was everything you might need in a house and more. The location is perfect for all those without cars as the bus stops right in front of the house and there's a light rail only a 10 min walk away. Loved it! Not 5 stars because the area in which it's at is pretty dark but overall a great choice! Stay here :)

The house was nice, clean and exactly what we had hoped for. A great price. It was perfect for us. I was a little concerned that there was no check in process, there was some damage to the house (a scandalously broken entry step, plaster damage inside) that I was afraid we might be blamed for. But our damage deposit was returned in full. The owner was nice enough, but it took several tries to get him to understand what days we wanted and it took way too long to get our (huge) deposit back. I suggest being VERY clear, there were several opportunities for misunderstanding that could have ended up ruining the trip. Negative for communication, positive for the place, overall good experience.

This House is a great place to stay and, in our case, a family central hangout for visiting relatives in Seattle. We originally planned for 5 of us, parents, friends and son to stay but when our daughter discovered the extra sofa bed, and the movie collection, not to mention the kitchen where we stocked the fridge, our family of six all stayed comfortably. The location is great- quiet and away from the bar buzz but near lake Washington and on the central bus line. We also appreciate the parking space for a car which got us out to Marin etc. e location was convenient to bus transportation, grocery stores, restaurants; very clean , comfortable and great reasonable alternative to impersonal hotels. In the words of Governor S., "We'll be back." Absolutely recommend this inviting Seattle. The owner/manager were very helpful and cordial

First the good: This house has great bones. A very nice masterbath with jacuzzi and marble floors, interesting color schemes, good parking, spacious living room with fireplace, huge TV. The cleaning crew (which you pay for) leaves the place spotless. You also just can't beat the price. I stayed here with my family and we would have had to rent three hotel rooms to accommodate us all. There was space for all of us to have our own bedrooms with room to spare. The sad thing is that this beautiful house has not been maintained. The photos on the listing may have reflected what it looked like when it was first furnished. But now there are scrapes in the paint job, a hole in the wall near the rear door, badly damaged furniture, and missing silverware. But the most objectionable thing is the odor mentioned by a previous reviewer. The deodorizers all over the house help so that you don't notice it after about 30 minutes, but when you first walk into the house or down into the basement (where the source of the odor is) it is very noticeable. I would not recommend this to a friend.

My family was so comfortable here. It was like being at our own home. As advertised this really is an excellent bargain. You honestly can’t find accommodations this reasonable anywhere. The washer & dryer were great. The kitchen was so well stocked. There was even a rice cooker. The house is so conveniently located to stores, local restaurant, Star buck, and very good PHO Restaurant 4 block away, if you don't have a car you can take the light rail or the bus is few block away. The I-5 freeways is easy in-n out. I feel obligated to address the previous reviews. The house is smell good and very clean and wonderful, everything was fine. but some people trip out on stupid stuff. The house is hella comfortable, There was plenty of toilet paper, extra towls and liner. The TVs were great and the Internet was plus. Tony is great and very helpful. He was always available. He is a very caring person. He will do anything to make your stay pleasant. The security deposit was returned to me in 4 days. My family will be returning here. I'd recommend this property to my friends, and to any one that looking for bargain.

On the plus side this house was spacious, had a great TV and Internet connection, and laundry facilities. Unfortunately, there were a few negatives. The house is in an urban area on a main street, the curb appeal was disappointing. The house had an odor. The furniture was dated. The toilets wobbled. The bed linens we the wrong size and had holes in them. The kitchen stove had a burner out, the refridgerator .. the water dispenser didn't work. There was a mandatory cleaning fee, and the house didn't reflect it upon arrival. The security deposit was returned 6 days late.

We stayed in this house for a family reunion late July 2010 and found it to be very convenient and spacious. It's close to the train, giving easy access to downtown Seattle and the sports fields. It is also conveniently located to get to the airport easily. Columbia City nearby is a very cute area in Seattle with terrific restaurants. Across the street there is a mini-mall that has a great Vietnamese diner, another good Vietamesebakery/takeout place, a really cute dim sum bakery, and one of the best larger places to eat dim sum in town, although the grocery store might have seen better days.

My group of 7 stayed here over the long Memorial Day weekend in 2010. The house is spacious and reasonably clean and comfortable. Light rail is right out front, but to ride into downtown you must walk to a stop several blocks away. With a group of our size it was faster and less expensive to drive downtown and pay for parking. There were problems: I did not receive the code to open the house until just before leaving my home, which was a little stressfull. A burner on the stove did not work, the TV did not work. After having my deposit for more than six months prior to our stay, it took several reminders and my getting surly in order to refund.

We traveled to Seattle with our 2 kids and in laws and stayed at Tony's rental. It was perfect! It was clean and everything was great. It was close enough to the new light rail system to walk to and travel into downtown. We really enjoyed our stay and all had a great time. Thanks Tony!
