Fantastic Location/Parking/Walk to The Beach

My family of 4 spent 11 days in this awesome apartment. The place is spotless, comfortable, convenient ... it has everything you need. The master bedroom is very spacious.. The 2 bathrooms are a plus ! The kitchen is also very useful, especially if you want to cook something after a tiring - and hot - day out. It's conveniently located : you've got plenty of good restaurants nearby, Whole Foods is at a stone's throw and the pedestrian area of Lincoln Mall can be reached in a 2 minute walk. It's not our first time in Miami but it's definitely the best apartment we've stayed at. They also had a private parking space for us which worked out wonderful!! It's an old Art Deco building but that's exactly what we wanted.. Now about the owners : They were very fast answering to our questions while booking. We all ready booked 4 next year! Thanks Again... This place was great, super clean and at a GREAT location. U can literally walk to the beach is only a few blocks away and with the weather is a really nice walk. This is an older Art Deco building so everything is not modern (built in the 1930’s) but it’s definitely “South Beach” and the price is right for what you get. Contact with the owners and support team was also very good, we lost power during a storm and they had someone at the apartment within 1 hour and everything was resolved.. We love to cook so the kitchen was perfect. You really don't need a car but if you have one, this place even comes with a parking spot. I really hope when I come back this place is available because it was a great stay. Thanks for a great time!!

We rented this apartment in January 2012. I do not recommend renting the apartment. The worst is the smell to humendad inside and the smell of garbage out. The building is very poorly maintained. The windows of the kitchen and master bedroom open onto a very narrow street where the garbage dumps of several reataurantes. These wastes are collected at 7 am each day producing garbage smell and loud. Furniture and appliances are very mistreated. The second bathroom is unusable because of their small size. For more than four passengers is considered an air mattress bed camping almost does not fit in the living room and when we got was broken, luckily we are only four people. We only have 2 cups for breakfast, several glasses were broken. The washer and dryer are located inside the master bedroom . It took longer than usual and had to complain several times the deposit. Be carefull!!

This property is all that you could expect and more based upon the price that you pay. The website photos & description show how the place is.. This was our 7th time in South Beach and we were on a bit more of a budget this time.. The building was older (1940’s I think) but we really like old style of Miami Beach.. And the amount of space was great for us, it was just over 1000 s/f and that made the living situation really good. The Locations is AMAZING, 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and clubs - The secure and private entrance was another highlight of our stay as well as the fact that we had our own private and gated parking space. Alexis was very helpful to our family and we also had Bertha come in and do daily cleaning for us.. This is the perfect apartment for a family or group who has a bit of a budget but also wants to be in a great LOCATION.. Thank You from GERMANY and see you next year!!!

The process was very quick and easy, the contract was fair and everything outlined in it was delivered.. We were pleasantly surprised with the coziness, cleanness, and actually the size of the apartment! It had all the devices we needed, i.e.: Plasma TV, Bose Stereo System, Wi-Fi, as well as an Excellent location. This is our 5th time in South Beach and we ALWAYS like to stay in Older “Art Deco” type of buildings which to us is TRUE South Beach.. For the money we've spent it was the best deal ever. Upon our check-out we have received our security deposit back shortly after cleaning service submitted cleaning report. Definitely looking forward to our next stay at Les Jardins!!! Thank You.. I arrived to the room at 10:00pm tired after worked 8 hrs and drive for another 6hrs and by 11:00pm I went down to the pharmacy to buy Clorox, disinfectant and other cleaning stuffs because the room was dirty. Bathrooms were dirty and had mold in the tubs, toilets were dirty and full of hairs, floor was dirty and sticky, kitchen was dirty, the coffeemaker has never been cleaned, The refrigerator was dirty and full of stuff from other people. I had to change beds sheets because they were used. I put all the utensils in the dishwasher to disinfect them. I put a clean sheet to cover the sofa because it was sticky and dirty. We paid for cleaning fees but we cleaned the whole apartment. And as of today (2 months later) I'm trying to collect back my deposit from Mr. Alexis. I have send him a couple of e-mails and he did'nt answer. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO STAY, unless you are willing to clean the room before use or willing to lose your deposit.

Owner response: We will make this short and sweet :) When you stay with us PLEASE take care of the apartment! You can NOT expect your deposit back which is usually three hundred when you do over Four Hundred in damage & have a CRAZY parties.. Bottom line is its unacceptable behavior and should not be tolerated by anyone “EVER”!! and that includes ‘FRANCES”

+ This apartment has very good location, close to restaurants and shopping. - We could not stay in the apartment, it smelled musty and damp, mold. Much worse condition than you can see at the pictures. We left the apartment immediately. We have had to pay for an apartment we could not stay in. We have tried to get the owner to at least repay the deposit and cleaning fee. It took a month before we got back the deposit but not the rent and cleaning fee. It did not need to be cleaned up, because we never lived there. Terrible and nothing I could recommend to anyone not even my worst enemy.

Owner response: This falls under “Know Before You Go” - When you come from a place with an average temperature of 42F or 6C to a place with an average temperature of 78F or 26C and located on the Ocean you must be aware of the climate change and what to expect. This is an Art Deco building built in the 1930’s not a modern hotel on the ocean. For just over One Hundred Dollars a Night for a 2 Bedroom/2 Bath Apartment in South Beach Florida you cannot expect a brand new building. If you are looking for the Ritz at Holiday Inn prices this will not be place for you. We are priced extremely fair for what you get, our Location is truly AMAZING, the pictures are real and accurate. You cannot expect to stay someplace for 3 out of 4 nights and get your money back.. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at any time :)

Alexis.... Thank you for taking such great care of us...We definitely got what we paid for.. It's not the Plaza but you don't charge Plaza rates so it's all good, exactly what we wanted! Comfortable and well equipped (it sure does beat a Hotel Room :) Walking to the beach was GREAT!.! It was a home away from home! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend you to our friends! We'll be back in December!... JC,Sarra, & Mik

I stayed at this place recently with my family and felt the need to leave a review to share my experience with others. The Plus The owner was really friendly and the check-in instructions were clear as could be. The location is great, out the back door and you are pretty much on Lincoln Road. Maybe not the safest area to walk around late at night though. The price was great for a 2 bedroom 2 bath in the area. Parking space was nice as this area is tough for parking. Awesome entertainment system, huge TV plus surround sound. Laundry machines were a huge plus. The Minus Poorly decorated. I think with $1000 investment in better bedding, wall hangings, rugs, shower curtains, small decorations, this place could have been a five star stay. The decorations are all mish mashed and confusing like buddhist statue, hockey memorabilia, jesus wall hanging, painting of ocean. It was actually pretty funny. Uneven map of world hung up with pieces of blue painters tape in master bedroom. This was the only decoration in the room. I mean seriously? My wife felt the place was a little dirty and uncomfortable. 2nd Bedroom beds are small and uncomfortable. Ants. Parking space is covered but large metal poles make it tight to get into without someone helping. We showed up at check in time and cleaning lady was still cleaning so we had to sit there waiting for her to finish. Owner was a little slow in returning deposit. Took over a week which I guess it states in the contract but it made me nervous waiting for it. All in all, I am happy I stayed here as it was right where I wanted to be and was a great price but I doubt we will be back as the wife was not happy. I hope the owner puts the small investment into making this place feel more organized and luxury.

Eight of us rented this condo for spring break and it was excellent! The location is perfect for the beach, shopping and nightlife. The condo was clean and was exactly as it had been pictured. We were able to walk everywhere and would definitely not recommend renting a car, you just don't need one!!

This was my first experience with this type of rental and I had driven over 1400 miles not knowing what to expect. Not to worry. Everything was accurately described. And everything worked in condo. Super close to Lincoln road restaurants and like previous reviewers have said-little noise. This is not designer luxury furnishings but comfortable and certainly adequate for our needs. We had trouble using lockbox system to enter but once we figured out how to use same everything was ok. Would recommend-especially for events at convention center. Landlord was not on site but always available by phone. We had vehicle and secure parking was tight but great-and we only used van once. Walked or taxi. Read lengthy description of property-look at provided photos-and you will know what you are getting.

I stayed at Les Jardins with my mother, brother and 5 year old daughter during a long weekend in May and we were all really pleased with the accommodations. The unit is spacious and very clean. The (covered) parking spot was extremely convenient. The location is excellent - and much quieter than we had expected given it's in the heart of South Beach. The fact that you can walk to the beach just a few blocks away was fantastic -- no need to drive everywhere if you don't want to. I would recommend this unit for friends or family.

We had a great time staying at Les Jardins. The condo is seconds away from Lincoln Road, minutes from the beach, and within walking distance of all the hotspots in south beach. didn't need a car at all. the condo was perfect for us (seven 21 year old girls) but it is a good location for almost anyone. definitely would go back to this place and work with Alexis again, he was so accomadating and easy to correspond with.

You were right, we did not even need a car, we could walk to the beach, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, all the restaurants and night life. The condo was perfect for us. Very safe, and excellent location.. We will be back again next year.. Thanks for all your help and support..

I was very very happy with my stay! Everything was just as described. The beautiful art deco finishes as well as the surrounding greenery made the stay truly delightful. Location was ideal to say the least. We were able to walk to the beach everyday as well as local shops and restaurants. On top of it all the pricing was very reasonable and certainly looks like something we could do on a more regular basis. We are hoping to plan a follow up trip next year and bring some friends. Overall, an amazing experience!

We spent a great week at Les Jardins: Perfect location, beautiful building, parking, big rooms, king size bed, cozy sheets, speed Internet, HD premiun cable TV, all needed appliances and for a rrather good price. I will strongly recommend whenever in Miami. You can walk everyware; beaches, shops, restaurants and the clubs..

We stayed in "Les Jardins" from 3/10/09 to 3/17/09. We were in Miami for our friend's father's 75th birthday and for a little springtime get-away. The condo was in an awesome location, just steps from Lincoln Road where a constant flow of people walk endlessly from the nearby beach to the shops, galleries and restaurants. Espanola Way, Collins and Ocean Aves. are all within a short stroll away. The condo was clean, bright and has great energy. It is simply and comfortably furnished and decorated (feels like a Euro home stay). Although it is located in a quiet little neighborhood, due to its lively location and proximity to Lincoln Road, there are some typical city noises to endure, but it is nothing to fret about as the location is so awesome. Alexis communicated to us promptly. He provided contact numbers and information on the condo & property as well as local Miami/South Beach information. We'd stay here again and would recommend this to friends/family.
