Just 20 minutes and you have Dupont State Forest with gorgeous waterfalls, lakes and miles of hiking/biking trails. 40 minutes to an hour is Pisgah National Forest with hiking, biking, camping, horse back riding and the Blue Ridge Parkway. My home is easily accessible from Asheville Airport (20 min.) or Greenville/ Spartanburg (1 hr.)

It feels like coming home to spend a second holiday here. Glad not to get snowed in this time though! Thank you so much for having us. Sorry our mother didn't live to come back with us. We thought of her as we gathered here once again.

Thank you so much for letting us have our whole family together to celebrate Christmas. We had a wonderful time. Everyone had their own space to get away for quiet time. We enjoyed exploring Hendersonville and the Flat Rock Cinema. Your house truely felt like a home, everything we needed was here. Thank you again.

We enjoyed making Thanksgiving for our aunt and uncle who have retird to Hendersonville. We cooked together in your well equipped kitchen, and everything came out without a hitch. We were 11 at dinner, plus Alex, the standard poodle. The table was festive with your ornamental platters and glassware. The week we spent here was most enjoyable, with walks, visits to the Sandburg house, shopping in Asheville, a movie there, and many hours of conversation in your comfortable house.

Our family had a great vacation staying in Hendersonville. The house was comfortable and great for large families. It was equipped with everything you need. I would definitely recommend this home for a place to stay. It was in a neighborhood, but felt very private. We had access to grocery stores and restaurants as well as being able to do day trips to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We would definitely stay there again!

We had great weather and enjoyed our stay. We went tubing twice on the Green River. Also took in the sights and visitor center on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Did a little hiking too. We went fishing on Lake Lure and learned that was where Dirty Dancing was filmed! One night there was a power failure for 3 hours- no worries- lots of candles and flashlights in the house. It really is fully equipped.

Well appointed home! Our families had a wonderful time. Feels far away - but within a short drive to the grocery store, restaurants and shopping. Kids loved the yard. Thank you!
