Memory Gap is a secluded 2 story cabin located in the Slick Rock Community 7 miles South of Brevard, Nc. Slick Rock is a private community of "mountain house" owners coming from mainly SC and NC. There is a wonderful lake offering a dock and swimming area, fishing, canoing, and relaxing. In the evening it is very possible to find several home owners relaxing by the lake talking over the days activities.
The cabin offers 2 bedrooms and one bath and a very peaceful screened porch to relax on. there is a nice wood stove for those chilly nights. The property borders a babbling brook (not visible, but audible!) to lull you to sleep. The Dupont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and The Brevard Musical Center offer many other recreational activities.

The Slick Rock Community is a unique mountain community of fun loving, friendly owners. People gather at the lake, especially at "happy hour" to chat and catch up. the mountain lake is great for swimming, fishing, canoeing, etc.
Memory Gap is nestled in the woods with the sounds of a rushing stream in the woods. You can sit on the screened porch and watch/listen to the wildlife around you.
