Listen to the ocean waves on the rocks below the house lulling you to sleep at night after a cocktail or dinner on the patio with an unlimited view of the ocean for 180 degrees. Take a cooling shower in the garden shower among the flowers and banana plants under a palm palapa, no hot water needed. Read a book swinging in one of the shady hammocks on the patio overlooking the ocean...margarita required. Walk to nearby fish boat harbor and buy fresh fish from fishermen to cook each day in the large kitchen. Walk a block to a nearby picture perfect cove and go swimming in the 83 degree clear ocean between beers under a palapa on the beach. A .20 cent bus ride will take you to huge central market that sells everything. A rental car can be included for additional charge of $300/week.
Although Puerto Escondido (PXM) has an 'international airport', only one late afternoon flight a day from Mexico City makes it hard to get to in one day travel from US. Nearby Huatulco (HUX), 70 miles away, has more flights into it each day, several direct from the US and Canada. If you walk 1/2 kilometer out of the airport to the highway you can catch a local taxi (not one that operates from within airport) for $20-$35 to Puerto or a bus comes by every 1/2 hour for $4.
Endless beaches with egg laying turtles in season for walking and exploring await you along with ancient villages in the coffee growing mountains that have been there for over 1,000 years making pottery, etc. House comes with resident white cat named "Gringo" at no extra charge who offers purrs for fresh fish or ear scratch. Maid service twice a week included.

I fell in love with Puerto Escondido the first time I visited the little fishing village. It reminds me of what Mexico used to be 20 years ago in terms of calm, laid back life style and friendly people. Attached photo is recent cutting from garden....enjoy
Why the Owner Chose Puerto Escondido
It is uncrowded and off the beaten path of tourism where prices have risen and service has suffered by restaurants etc. Long walks on pristine beaches and warm balmy ocean temps.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
Walk a block from the front door and you are in a little sheltered cove of crystal clear, warm water to swim and walk the other direction about 4 blocks and you can be there when the fishermen come in each morning with their loads of fish. Buy your fish fresh and take it back to the house to cook. House garden contains bananas, papayas, coconuts, limes, etc. House is on a cliff about 150' above the ocean and 50' from the ocean rocky edge. You can throw a rock into the ocean from the patios which are surrounded by bright red bougainvillea. Entire upstairs floor is a master bedroom with a king size pedestal bed, open shower in one corner, balcony with stunning view of 180 degrees of ocean. Laundry room with washer/dryer, modern kitchen and open living area for comfortable, spacious living. Rental car is available for an additional $300/week.
