- The area is well known as Long Island Wine Country, and offers numerous wine related activities in some 50 wineries in the area, as well as special farm activities depending on the time of year, including fruit picking, hay rides, haunted corn maze and pumpkin picking. Wine tasting tours are popular. Children are welcome at wineries, but they would probably prefer the wonderful Victorian carousel in Greenport Village, or a gentle cruise round the bay on the electric boat, "Glory".

Born in the UK, she had a successful film, TV career and real estate career, prior to moving to the US.
