Why the Owner Chose Edgewater
We have been vacationing in Destin for as long as we can remember. It was only natural that we would want to locate our vacation home here.
As far as why we chose our particular condo...the view!!! We looked at several different condos that were available for purchase in the area. But when we got on the 17th floor & saw the incredible view, we didn't have any problem making our decision. Another benefit...there are only three units on our floor. It is so private & so quiet!
Edgewater is also very family-oriented. There is always plenty for us to do that makes every visit special!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The location of Edgewater makes it easy to get to all that the area has to offer! We always visit our favorite restaurants while we are here. They stretch all the way from Santa Rosa Beach to Ft. Walton Beach. My son enjoys the playground on site, but for a special treat, we run over to The Village of Baytowne Wharf to their playground. And of course...the shopping is top-notch! Silver Sands being right across the road is too convenient!

We live in a cozy little town in Northwest Alabama where everyone knows everyone. We love to spend time outdoors, especially riding our horses & playing with our German Shepherds. We have a spoiled rotten King Charles Spaniel that we just adore. I must confess...my son loves a greater variety of animals than I do. So we also have fish, frogs, & turtles sharing our home.
We feel very blessed to live close enough to our vacation home to visit frequently. We also enjoy sharing it with our guests. We hope you are lucky enough to be at the beach soon, too!

Hello Tammy, I just wanted to follow up with you and thank you for a wonderful stay. Thank you for the suggestion to wait and reserve the umbrellas and chairs daily on the beach because with Lee hitting we would have wasted our money on those rental for three days!! I can completely understand why some owners wish to eliminate this from the rental inclusion especially if they require you to pay everyday the condo is rented come rain, shine or tropical storm. The condo was absolutely beautiful and we did our very best to keep it that way. It was very clean, fresh and comfortable. We had just about every amenity we could want – just like home. My only suggestions would be a cookie sheet for pizzas and board games for those wet days/nights! :-) We spent a lot of time in the condo due to the tropical storm that hit, but it was very pleasant and comfortable even with two young children. They enjoyed the view from the patio and we played games and watched movies. It was quiet and the view was awesome. Although, I wish you the very best of luck in selling your condo, I look forward to staying there again if you are still renting. Last, I want you to know that the Management Company was spectacular to work with. I know that this can be a difficult choice for owners and it is always nice to hear how they are doing. In past stays we have had interactions with The Edgewater staff directly and they definitely lack the pleasant customer service that we received with the ladies at your current management company. Angelina was hilarious when we had to call and ask about a key to unlock the master bedroom door, as our 3 year old had accidentally locked us all out - he was not in the bedroom at the time thank goodness, but managed to lock the door and close it before we could stop him! They were incredibly responsive and so easy to work with! Thank you again for the very pleasant stay and only wish for drier, sunnier weather on our next visit!!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful condo! Everything was great! By the way, the chandelier is AWESOME! The only things we can suggest are a pizza cutter, more lighting in main bathroom, and a few more wine glasses. Other than that, everything was perfect! We can't wait to return to this beautiful condo here in Destin!

We had a great time here in Destin! The weather was great despite a rainy forecast!! Your home is lovely & we enjoyed the views! We appreciate the upgraded decor ~ very tasteful! The yummy restaurants we would suggest are: sauce, 98 BBQ, Dewey Destin, 3 Graces, & Shorty's. That you for recommending Dewey's ~ the food was scrumptious & the views were fantastic! Hope to be back next year ~ we really love Edgewater!
