The house is located on a thin strip of land (known as Dune Road) 65 miles east of New York City. On one side of the road is the Atlantic Ocean and on the other side a large bay. It does not get much better than this in the Hamptons. This property consists of a main house with three bedrooms, two baths and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.
There is a second house on the property which has a studio apartment with a full kitchen, shower and steam room. It has a "bonus" room downstairs which has a second refrigerator/freezer, TV area, wine refrigerator and laundry facility. Both homes are air conditioned.
The various outdoor areas enjoy private large stone patios which can be used for cooking (on a large stainless steel BBQ), dining, and lounging. There is a 40" x 20" grassy area of lawn to sun on and enjoy as well. There is an outdoor shower and a unique outdoor tub (shipped from Thailand) that has hot and cold running water.
Enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in the world by day, and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean at night. This rental includes a full kitchen, plus all linens are provided.

Year Purchased: 1999
We have enjoyed this property for the last 10 years and after a complete renovation in 2007, our work has taken us to California. Unfortunately, we are unable to spend the entire summer in the Hamptons, so therefore we would love for some one else to enjoy and experience one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. For those of you who are not familiar with the area, Quogue is a very special, quaint village that has managed to maintain its charm.
Why the Owner Chose Quogue
We chose this location for our vacation home because of the quaint charm of the 1890's home and the spectacular beach.
The Unique Benefits of this House
There are many great benefits of this home. Proximity to the beach, quiet town, and where it sits in the Hamptons could not be more ideal. You are only 65 miles from NYC. When other people are driving out east another 40 to 50 miles, and who knows how many more hours, you are taking your first dip in the ocean.
