Year Purchased: 1993
Born in Chicago and transferred to California we wanted a retirement place on the water with golf nearby. We found and named Diamond Dunes in 1993 on a trip to the Emerald Coast. We never saw sand so white and water so many incredible shades of green. Instantly it became our favorite vacation spot enjoyed by our 4 children and now 4 grandchildren. We are retired and live both in Florida and California.
Why the Owner Chose Inlet Beach
Fun, calm, safe and relaxing with all the activity anyone can want just to the east and west. We all imagine the beauty of a deserted island while not really wanting to be deserted - that's Diamond Dunes. Most of the year the beach in front of our home looks like your private hideaway.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Waking up in the master bedroom you have the feeling you are on the most luxurious ocean liner because all you see is the vastness of the Gulf of Mexico. Walk out the door and you're on the beach wandering as far east or west as you like collecting shells, seeing pelicans nab their morning catch, or dolphins swimming among the schools of fish they prefer. There are a few restaurants just a few blocks away so if you don't want to drive you can take a stroll and eat out too. Private beach service is provided for your stay at no additional cost so you will always have unbrellas and chairs near the water.
