A beautifully renovated five-bedroom, three-bath, 4000 + square foot house with stunning views of New Harbor, one of the most picturesque fishing harbors in mid-coast Maine. Nearly an acre of lawn fronts on the harbor, with an 1,800-square-foot rustic boat house, surrounded by an outdoor dock, on which it’s perfect to sit at the end of the day and watch the sun set. There is a 150-foot beach at low tide, and the Gulf of Maine and the Atlantic ocean are just 200 yards away.
A small community located on the scenic and historic Pemaquid Peninsula, New Harbor abounds with lobster boats on the water and many delightful places to explore on land. It also boasts one of the finest seafood restaurants, Shaw’s Wharf, from whose dock the Hardy Boat takes cruises for seal watching, puffin sightings, and to Monhegan Island, home to a flourishing arts scene.
The house sleeps 8 people, and has a finished basement with a pool table. There is a caretaker nearby to answer all questions, and the house is full of brochures on nearby attractions as there is so much to see, taste, and enjoy.

Why the Owner Chose New Harbor
After visiting friends in New Harbor, with our young sons, 20 years ago, we fell in love. We first rented for 1 week, then the next summer for 2 weeks then the summers after that for 3 weeks. Our sons grew up loving it as we did. When this unique property became available, we pounced. After completely restoring and significantly adding to the house, we now vacation here year round. Even though we are there often the house does not get used enough.
