This delightful, one bedroom London apartment rental is located in the heart Kensington, central London. One of the most sought after neighborhoods in London, it is a fantastic location for your stay in London.

Enter the apartment to a sunny living room which overlooks the award-winning front garden from two large windows. Decorated in pale creams combining antiques with modern furniture, find a comfortable and welcoming home.
Find a new high-quality sofa which converts to a double bed at night, comfortable armchairs, marble bistro table to seat four, fireplace (decorative) with antique mirror, and desk, TV, DVD player, stereo, etc., for eating and relaxing in after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. Walk thru to the fully-remodeled and equipped kitchen. It is compact and well-designed with every appliance and convenience you might need: full frig/freezer, stove, combination microwave/convection oven, toaster, coffee maker, Italian pottery dishes etc.
The bathroom is next on the right, tiled in white with combination bathtub/shower, sink and toilet. Convenient because it can be accessed separately from bedroom or living room.
Next is the large bedroom, decorated in sunny yellows, with two twin beds which are combined to make a large dual king. There is a large closet, good lighting, plus washer and separate dryer. An empire-style daybed sits at the end of the bed for reading or relaxation during your stay. Flat screen TV and DVD here to relax privately.
Extra sleeping option: thick folding mattress in the bedroom closet so one child can sleep on the sofa bed and the other one on the mattress.
The added bonus is the set of french doors in the bedroom, which lead directly onto the semi private Italian-style patio garden. Guests love to sit out and enjoy relaxing here, or dining al fresco. What can say about your wonderful apartment? It truly is perfect in every way - comfort, cleanliness, great neighborhood, everything!
Our week was ideal. The 4 of us, my husband and I and two teenagers (17 and 15) were very comfortable and had plenty of room. It looked exactly like the pictures you have on the internet. There was plenty of room in the apartment for all of us. The kitchen had every modern convenience.
There were DVD players and all the amenities. We felt very safe and comfortable. We used the outdoor patio as well, which was lovely. The neighborhood is fantastic. We loved the shops and restaurants, especially Da Mario (ate there three times). We traveled on and off the underground constantly throughout our travels in the city.
Your apartment is the perfect location from the tube station to everywhere in the city. Also, we walked to High Street daily - Sticky Fingers restaurant is a must! We could not have asked for a better place to stay in such a great city. We will definitely be back. Thanks again for all your help with our accommodations and all the information on what to do and where to go. It was great. The communication and payment processes were simple and fast. No problems at all with any transactions.

Why would anyone stay at another apartment in London when you can stay here! My wife and I felt like Londoners taking day trips from our own home. And our home was delightful. It was roomy, spotlessly clean, well-decorated with comfortable furniture and had all we could ask for, including a secluded garden. We were in a beautiful part of London and could get anywhere we wished by walking or heading to the nearby tube station. Thank you so much. We're coming back, for sure.

It was a pleasure returning to London, one of my 'beary' favorite cities in the world. This lovely apartment is close to all of central London but provided an exceptionally quiet place to decompress on our journey back from India. A short Tube ride took us to Harrods and the shops of Knightsbridge, one of the city's premier shopping districts. We also spent a interesting evening at the Tower of London to experience the Ceremony of the Keys. Each night, as has happened every night for over 700 years, there is a ceremony as they officially lock up the Tower. It's well worth arranging the free tickets online.
Madelyn and Phillipe, the owners are very gracious hosts and in addition to being available to answer our questions about the apartment and the city, they have a very wide selection of London and UK guide books for guests to use. As mentioned before, the apartment is on a quiet street in a beautifully restored neighborhood originally built as homes for Queen Victoria's staff. Each home on the block has a colorful garden in front and this apartment also has a beautiful, tranquil garden patio directly behind. It is a great place to spend a summer morning having a cup of coffee and reading the Times of London or the latest Jeffrey Archer novel.
I particularly liked the art in the apartment. There are several original paintings, including one of the exterior of the home, as well as a stone bas-relief of an ancient chariot and team of horses. Another similar piece can be found high on the wall in the garden patio. I also loved the marble fireplace mantel in the living room. In a word, this apartment is elegant and very well-appointed.
If your travel plans call for time in London, this apartment will provide a most memorable stay in the heart of everything you'll want to do.

"The Cornwall flat was more than it was advertised to be. After touring all day (most of it on foot) it was so wonderful to come to the flat and sink into the luxurious bed. It was conveniently located and the area felt so safe we walked around until later in the evening/night without fear. Madelyn and Philippe were very gracious hostesses and we had privacy but they were also accessible when we had questions. We will definitely stay there again for our next trip to London."

"We had a wonderful stay. The Cornwall was so convenient to the pastry shops, markets and tube. It was a two minute walk through a lovely neighborhood to everything. The patio was perfect to come back and have an cup of tea. Thanks for a great time and we look forward, in a year or two, to staying in one of your Paris apartments. "Outstanding apartment. First, the location in central London could not be better. The apartment is two blocks from the intersection of Cromwell and Gloucester, which is where the Gloucester Tube Station is located. The Piccadilly line, which goes directly to Heathrow Airport goes through this station, and the Piccadilly line also goes directly to the Covent Garden theater district. The Cornwall apartment is less than a 5 minute walk from the tube station. The Waitrose grocery store is right at the Gloucester Tube Station, Sainbury's, which is a larger market, is about two blocks away, and the flagship Whole Foods in London is at the next major street on Kensington. The neighborhood is lovely and safe. Second, the apartment is beautifully decorated and has an excellent layout. It has a private entrance, then the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom laid out in a linear pattern, with the bedroom opening onto a small garden patio with a gazebo. The apartment is even prettier than the pictures on the website, and the furnishings are really quite beautiful. The London Perfect staff are always available, as are the owners, one of whom is a retired cardiologist. I mention this because emergencies do happen, and the owners have helped guests through several of these. The apartment also has Lushi's car service available for trips to and from Heathrow. We used Lushi on our trip to Heathrow (50 GBP), and it was a wonderful way to leave London. One last note and a suggestion: my wife and I rent apartments when we travel. This was the best one ever, without question. It's very popular, and I would suggest trying to plan ahead in renting it. If you stay there, you'll see why. We call the Cornwall the "perfect" in London Perfect."

We absolutely loved the apartment. Fantastic location on a beautiful street in Kensington. So easy to get anywhere with the tube stop just a couple of blocks away and plenty of taxis in the neighborhood. The apartment was great for a couple, but it could sleep up to two more. Everything was updated, clean, functional and very comfortable. We enjoyed the garden. What a treat to have that kind of private space in the middle of London. Madelyn and Philippe were fantastic. Such wonderful hosts, offering suggestions, getting us in touch with people who could help with anything. I would highly recommend this for a short or extended stay in London. Loved it."

We were a group of 3 for this really lovely apartment. The courtyard was beautiful. The weather was perfect for us to really be able to enjoy it. The apartment had everything that we could possibly need. We enjoyed absolutely everything. The location was fantastic, old charm residential. It was between 2 tube stations and walking distance to Knightsbridge, Picadilly and Bank street. We had so many restaurants to choose from in the neighborhood along with "to go" delicious items. We loved our visit in London, celebrating our granddaughter's 16th birthday. The flat on Queen's Gate was in a perfect location and very clean and comfortable. We had every appliance and amenity we could ever want and that helped so much when we (she) wanted to sleep late! We were in easy walking distance to the TUBE, grocery and bakeries; right across from the V&A Museum and the Museum of Natural History. Thank you, Madelyn, for a lovely safe place to stay!
