  Carl, thank you for allowing us to rent your condo. The unit is well appointed and comfortable. It is in a gated community which is convenient to all the Outer Banks have to offer. In the future if my travel plans take me to the Outer Banks again, I will definitely see if this property is available. The owner suggested several reataurants in the area. Our favorite was Tortuga Lies. It should be noted that our original reservation was for the weekend after Hurricane Sandy hit in the fall. The owner was very accomodating in allowing us to make the change to the spring.

  Thanks so much to Carl for providing such a clean & beautiful condo for us to stay at while we were in the "Outer Banks",. It was a real big help also for your recommendations on restaurants & things to do while we were there. I would highly recommend this condo & the gated (Pirates Cove) where the condo was located. The ladies in the office at Pirates Cove were also very helpful with suggestions on places to go and see. My favorite was "Bodie Beach". I will definitely keep this in mind the next time we go to the "Outer Banks".

  This was a wonderful place to stay.. The house was clean and updated...Rosie keeps the house in top shape..She was able to let us in early and gave us lots of information on place to visit.. I can not say enought about how freat this place was.. The pond off the deck was great for the kids to feed the ducks. be back next year!!!

  This is the first time my family and I have rented through VRBO and we could not have been more pleased. We rented this condo for the purpose and convenience of location for a wedding over the weekend in Manteo. When we arrived, we found the condo to be very clean, comfortable, and exactly what we had expected it to be. The owner was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! He was considerate of our needs and requests to accommodate us for the wedding. He was very responsive to my e-mails and phone calls when we inquired to availability, services, etc. The property manager was extremely helpful as well, even when we needed a dry cleaner at the last moment! I called her early in the morning and asked her for a suggestion(s). After a brief time had passed, she called me to ensure I was able to find the dry cleaners and if everything worked out, if not, she was ready with other suggestions! We will return for another stay….this time to relax a little more!

  A couple week stay has turned into a month+ so having a place that feels like home has been amazing for us! This condo is comfortable, clean, well equipped and very nicely furnished. An on-site gym just a short walk away is an added bonus. Carl and the property manager Rosie are more than helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental to anyone.

  Property is exactly as described. Clean and well appointed. Perfect for 2 couples or a family with 2 master bedrooms one on each floor. The bunk bed nook is a plus. Pirates Cove on Roanoke Island is a great location to visit either Manteo or Outer Banks barrrier islands. This was our first trip to the Outer Banks in many years but will not be our last. Owner was very helpful recommending restaurants and places of interest. This condo will be number one on our list when we to return to the area.

  Just wanted to say we just got back in June and could not have been happier with our stay. Rosie did a super job getting the condo ready for us and Carl was very helpful about everything in the area to see and also where to dine. Can't wait to get back next year,everything you need for a great family vacation is right there and the kids activities are wonderful.

  My family stayed in this condo for a week. It was an excellant location - close to all the best restaurants and central to all the activities we wanted to do yet in a private, quiet, gated community. The condo was clean from top to bottom.

  We thoroughly enjoyed your place at Pirates Cove. Wonderful location and friendly neighbors. The end unit with windows on the side is a big plus in my mind. I was surprised at how well the complex was maintained, especially when your widowed neighbor below said she had been there 17 years. While we had to leave Sunday my sister stayed through Monday. Thank you for sharing your place with us. We look forward to returning to Manteo in the future. My wife loved the small town feel of Manteo - close enough to the beach but far from the maddening crowds..

  We have stayed in several properties at Pirate's Cove and this is one of the best. It is nicely appointed and convenient to the marina and pool. The owner is very accomodating and makes you feel at home. This is perfect for a quick weekend trip or an extended family vacation. Pirate's Cove is a great destination for the serious fisherman, beachgoers or a family looking to do some of both. There is plenty to do for adults and kids.

Please call to discuss off season pricing. We try to accommodate partial weeks during the offseason. During the summer months we only accept Sat to Sat stays. If it is last minute and you see a week open please feel free to call and inquire about a partial weeks stay.

We accept Cash, Check, Money Order, or Paypal. $200.00 reservation deposit required to reserve your week. Deposit is applied to your weekly cost. Payment is due in full 45 days prior to arrival.

Rates include taxes, amenity passes, linens only additional fee is a $75.00 cleaning fee.
