The cottage is located on a dead end street that dead-ends into the Long Island Sound. Residents of the street share a private beach. Guests of this property also have beach rights to adjacent beach. View of ocean and salt marsh from the front porch. You are a short walk from the town beach playground. No need to ever cook! There are many excellent Italian and seafood restaurants within walking or driving distance and many deliver. There is no need to ever change out of a bathing suit!
Enclosed front porch, Kitchen has new appliances including gas stove and washer and dryer. Cable and internet provided. Linens provided.
If you do get the urge to go out, you are a short trip from the big metropolitan areas of New York, Boston using either i-95 or the Shore Line Train. Lots of scenic country drives up the coast or inland. Easy access to casinos, shops, antiquarians, historical landmarks, factory outlets ,Yale University - You are minutes from downtown New Haven Ct. Theater in New Haven: Yale Rep, Long Wharf, Shubert and The Palace. Summer Concert Series on the New Haven Green. Arts and Craft and Music festivals on the Shoreline Town Greens including East Haven, Branford and Guilford and easy access from i-95 and i-91.

This picture was taken by my 4 year old grandson. He likes to keep me in the water for hours at a time. When he does let me get out it is only to take him on bike rides up and down Cosey Beach Ave. We go to the Sand Piper Rest or to the Beach Head Rest sometimes if he lets me take a break.
Why the Owner Chose East Haven
It is a beautiful beach! It is a short trip from the big metropolitan areas of New York, Boston and Providence using either i-95 or the Shore Line Train. With casinos ( Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods),shops, antiquarians, historical landmarks , Yale University and easy access from I 95 and I91, if you did want to leave the beach there is plenty to do!
