Having recently sold our townhouse on Hilton Head it was with great anxiety that we looked to rent a condo for the week on the island. It's the usual story, not enough time off and can't afford to make a mistake on a bad rental. We lucked out and found this rental on VRBO. It was better than we had hoped. It was clean, well located, quiet, and accurately presented in the listing. The owner was great to work with and communicated very well. Everything was first class. We especially enjoyed the porch for breakfast and lunch. Sam also provided two bikes that saved us about $50 in rentals. The only bad part was that my wife came back with too many ideas on how she'd like to make changes to our house. Our favorite restaurant for several years has been Chart House. Marley's, Trufles, and Alexander's were also quite good. I also recommend the kayak trips with Outside Hilton Head. We've taken trips with them twice and the guides are very knowledgable. We love Hilton Head and are sure that you will also. Sam's rental is great and you won't be disappointed.

Having stayed on HHI for over a combined, 40+ years we have high expectations! 105 Evian met and exceeded those expectations. The unit is very clean, bug free, up-to-date, and close and convenient to the pool, tennis, shopping and great restaurants. The owner, is easy to communicate with and very honest!

What a wonderful apartment and so easy to rent

We have just returned to the UK from Hilton Head and 105 Evian (June 2011). This property had absolutely everything one would need and is beautifully decorated. The a/c worked well and the beds were very comfortable. Sam the owner was particlarly helpful and answered our emails promptly. Everything went smoothly with regard to collection of keys etc and all our queries were answered. The pool and tennis courts are minutes away and it did not take us long to cycle to the beach or shops. We had the use of two bikes which was just what we needed and we had a wonderful time at 105 Evian. We would happily return to this apartment and would highly reccommend it to our friends. We had a great time......thank you Sam.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous villa. It was extremely clean and tastefully decorated! The accommodations were perfect! It was an added bonus that they had bikes for us to use during our stay. We were very close to the pool and tennis courts with an easy bike ride to the beach. I would strongly encourage you to book this villa. The owners were wonderful to work with and they returned the security deposit within days. We would give it five stars out of five! An absolutely jewel!!!

If you are considering a stay in Hilton Head and want to be near the ocean and close to Sea Pines, look no further. We are experienced VRBO renters and we have great familiarity with Hilton Head since our family lives there. While there may be a wide selection of rental units for you to choose from, including others in the Evian development of Shipyard Plantation, we strongly suggest you stay HERE. This is what we encountered during our May 2011 visit. The top floor corner unit was peacefully quiet, impeccably clean and fully equipped. The bathrooms are modern and well appointed. The furnishings are in excellent condition, tastefully selected, and lavishly comfortable. We slept as well in the master bedroom's oversized king bed as we did in our own at home. Even "smaller" things like the towels (fluffy and soft) and the pillows (comfortable and smooth) were well-selected. We did not have chance, regrettably, to enjoy the deck and its peaceful views of lush greenery but we hope you will. It's a lovely and shady setting to relax in. The internet in the unit never missed a beat and was very speedy, without all the weird stuff that can happen when the service is under-configured or secured. Every time we looked for something in the kitchen it was there. The appliances were clean and in excellent condition/working order. We travel a lot on business (70+% of the time) and we have stayed in 4-5 star hotels that did not adequately meet all these needs. This unit is highly desireable and the owners are professional, forthright, and a pleasure to deal with. Since we know Hilton Head well, we can assure you this villa is a gem and Evian/Shipyard is a delightful location. We can heartily recommend "It's Greek to Me" restaurant near Coligny Plaza along with the early bird dining menu at Redfish. But even if we had delivery pizza at our Hilton Head "home" here in our Evian rental unit, we would have been more than happy. A slice of heaven on earth!

Lovely villa in Evian

I have just returned from spending 4 weeks in this wonderful Villa. It was everything the listing said it would be; it was clean, well maintained and the photos were very accurate in reflecting this home. Sam, the owner, is great to deal with, he answered any questions I had very promptly. I would definitely return here and would not hesitate to highly recommend Sam's Villa to anyone.

What a beautiful little peice of paradise!

We just returned home from an absolutely wonderful week at this villa. This villa is far, far better than advertised. It is very beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable, and it has everything a family could need including a fully stocked kitchen, tonnes of space, very comfortable beds and bedding, and new electronics and home entertainment. Also, Sam (the owner) even provided two adult bikes for us to use while we were there, which was a huge bonus given the number of gorgeous bike trails on the island! The location of the condo was absolutely perfect. Shipyard itself is a very natural and beautiful section of the island and Sam's villa is located right in the middle. Very close to the pool (only about a minute walk or so) and has very easy access by car or bike to the beach club. On a more personal note, dealing with Sam, someone I've never met before and even lives in another country, felt more like dealing with an old friend. Our correspondance with him was prompt, helpful and very friendly, which in my experience makes all the difference. We loved our stay there and will be returning to Sam and Debbie's Villa without any doubt. In fact, we can't wait to go back!!

This condo is wonderful. Everything was as advertised. It is close enough to all attractions, yet far enough that you do not feel like you are in a tourist area. Our group consisted of 4 adults (2 middle age and 2 elderly) and 2 teenagers. There was something for everyone to do. We look forward to staying in this condo again next year.

We were very happy with our stay at your villa in Evian. Everything was so nice and clean. We enjoyed the quiet community the villa is in. The bikes were a nice bonus to ride around the area. This condo is one of the nicest ones we have rented in Hilton Head and we have stayed there many times. The condo has been totally updated, is very clean, has very comfortable furniture and has everything you could possibly want for your vacation. The owners are very easy to work with and I would definitely recommend this condo.

Your place is awesome. We had great fun in our favorite vacation spot. The villa is so beautiful and enjoyed the view of the golf course from the deck. Can't wait to return next year.
