Discover the laid back lifestyle of Long Beach and the Peninsula! The Oyster House is a beautiful furnished home with double garage on Willapa Bay near Ocean Park. This home is not only bay front, but just across the road from the Beach Barons Rod Run car show in September. Oyster House features wonderful serene views of Willapa Bay and the coastal mountains. Watch the ever-changing colors of the bay and enjoy the variety of wildlife that make their home there. Moonlit summer nights are especially romantic! Ocean Park is close by, with book and gift stores, groceries and restaurants. The Ocean Park beach approach is less than 5 minutes away by car. Or take a short trip up to Nahcotta to Baileys Bakery or a bit further to explore historic Oysterville. Long Beach is only 15 minutes away by car.

Take time to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. Long Beach has carnival rides, miniature golf and arcades for the kids. Check out Marsh’s Free Museum with its historical collection – and take a look at their great selection of gifts and souvenirs. There’s lot’s of shopping and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. Or take a horseback ride on the beach! Just south of Long Beach are Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. Or visit Jack’s Country Store in Ocean Park to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.

The Oyster House, with 2300 square feet of living space, is a great home for a couple of families to get together – especially for Thanksgiving and other special gatherings. The décor is contemporary and relaxed, and there are wonderful tile accents in the bathrooms. The hub of the house is the kitchen, dining room, living room and loft bedroom with its full bed. On the north wing of the house are two kid's rooms, the hall bath and master suite. The master bedroom has a full-size bed and a large ensuite bath. The kid’s rooms have bunkbeds (2 twin beds each). All the bedrooms have views of the bay. Relax in the living room with its wood stove and TV with DVD, which will play movies or music. The view surrounds you through the many windows in the living and dining rooms. The galley kitchen has beautiful tiled floors and countertops, and is bright and easy to use. The open access between the kitchen, living and dining rooms makes it easy for everyone to visit. There’s a great wraparound deck and a large lawn on the bay side – great for games and to let the kids run around. Last but not least, there’s a double garage with laundry room too. With 1 queen, 1 full and 4 twin beds, Oyster House sleeps up to 8 people total. One pet is allowed -- please let us know if you are bringing your pet. Remember that you are responsible for picking up too! For your comfort, no smoking is allowed.
