This place was perfect for our 3 families. The location and views couldn't have been better. The unit is on the first floor making it really convenient for loading and unloading ski equipment. It was fully stocked with all the linens, cooking stuff, utensils, etc you could need. The space was large and inviting and looked brand new! It's unanimous, we would all come back to stay! And you can't beat the price.

2nd Time and Still a Charm

After spending our very first time in Deep Creek at your beautiful home, we had to come back and experience it in the Winter...and we had a blast on MLK, Jr. weekend. The home again was fabulous and we are looking to plant another trip in August 2012! Thanks again for your beautiful home!!!

Great Ski Weekend

We met our friends for a ski weekend here last month. The house was beautiful, clean, well maintained, and in walking distance to restaurants and and a few shops. 3 minutes to the slopes. Really REALLY big - and spread out. Three bedrooms and bathrooms on one side of the house - one bedroom/bath on the other. Wonderful great room for kitchen/family room and comfy couches. Owners are very nice to deal with - no problems at all. It snowed constantly, and the driveway up wasn't recently plowed when we arrived, but it was plowed by the next day so it took a little figuring out to get my old van up the hill -but we did! Would stay again and again. Thanks for everything!

A true home away from home!

Never having been to Deep Creek Lake (I know, what took me so long?), I wasn't sure what to expect. I relaxed as soon as we entered your condo, it's just beautiful! It had everything we needed plus lots of extra touches, like the night lights and the well-equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice! It's a great location, too, with easy access to everything. I would love to be able to return sometime soon!

BEAUTIFUL, LAKE SETTING - WE NEVER WANTED TO LEAVE

This was our first experience with the condos in McHenry, and I want to tell you that this one is spectacular. It is perfect for the family get together, cozy, and has a ton of amenitites. We are coming back next year and every year after that for our family reunion!

Great Stay – Perfect Home away home

We rented this property for a family getaway (birthday and anniversary). Everyone loved it. As much as I got commended for a great choice, I give the full credited to the wonderful owners (John and Joyce) for preparing such establishment and sharing that with us. I must say the kitchen is really loaded more than we could expect. Everything was nice, clean and perfect as it was described. Wonderful area, very accessible to (lake, shopping, state park, etc…). We already passed this information to our extended family and friends. We look forward to return to Deep Creek and your wonderful home soon. Thank you

The Perfect Getaway

We wanted to get away from it all for a short jaunt that wouldn't break the bank and this location was spot on! The accomadations and amenities were 2nd to none! The four of us had a blast and look forward to returning!

Perfect Find

This place is absolutely incredible. My family stayed for an extended weekend, and the kids loved having their own bedroom and private bath. The house is immaculate, and was very peaceful. We loved that we were within walking distance to Smiley's (mini golf and go carts) and restaurants!! I've stayed at several places at DCL and this place was by far the best for the bargain. We will definetely be back again ~ Thank you John and Joyce for sharing your beautiful get away!!

More than I expected

I rented a large home on DCL for a surprise birthday party for my husband and invited our closest friends. All of them were able to attend, so I needed to rent another property for the weekend. I researched homes with 4 bedrooms and at least 3 baths. After reading the reviews, I chose this property. In order to make sure it was what I needed, I called the owners, who, by the way, are lovely people and very accommodating. When we first went into the house, it seemed to go on forever. It has a great floorplan. One concern I had was asking 2 couples to share a bath. That was not an issue as the bathroom is between 2 of the bedrooms. All of my friends commented about how lovely the house is. I seldom write reviews, but I think this home, and its owners, deserve the praise. It was a terrific find.

We had such a great time in your home! I went on a skiing/snowboarding trip with friends, and everyone thorougly enjoyed the house. The space was more than accommodating, clean and well maintained. It was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Waking up to the mountain view topped it off every morning. If we go back to Maryland, we definitely know where we'll stay! We absolutely loved your home! It snowed every day - We weren't sure if we would be able to leave! The view is absolutely breathtaking. I hope we can return again soon - quite a hike from Eastern Virginia - but well worth it! Thank you so much for allowing us to experience Wisp in your beautiful home... much more than we expected!

This was a wonderful place to call "home" while we were in Maryland for a wedding. The owners were so pleasant to work with and very accomodating. The pictures don't do it justice. We felt right at home. Everything you have at home....is there! We were very happy to have stayed here and have such a nice place to stay with friends. Thank you so much! If we're ever back in the area...this is the place for us!
