This Little Nest in the woods was exactly what I wanted!!! Great for a grp size 10-12. Must have 4wd or all wheel drive for the drive way:) Its just a little steep and a car would not make it up the drive way. Fantastic location if you want to spend the day at Big sky or Moonlight basin! Would definitely rent again in the future and or refer to anyone wanting a fantastic get away. Some suggestions: Crock pot would be oh so awesome (good thing I brought mine) and a griddle :0 Thank you!

Great Views, Great Space, Great Location!

We had a group of 14 people stay for four days. We LOVED it. The house was about a ten minute drive from Big Sky. It is up on a hill so we had a great view of the surrounding area including Lone Peak. The hot tub was wonderful, we used it every night we were there. We also rented out the detached unit above the garage. It was nice and gave everyone a little more room. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. You won't be disappointed if you rent Misty Chalet.

Great Vacation

This house is exactly as advertised. My entire family of 11 stayed for one week and had a fantastic time. Both the house and the apartment were very nice and well stocked with everything needed. The kitchens were excellent and we enjoyed the hot tube and the pool table. It was an excellent location to see Big Sky and Yellowstone. The caretaker was also very helpful also.

Exceeds Expectations!

If you're looking to have a relaxing retreat in Big Sky, Montana, look no further than the Misty Chalet. From the beginning of our trip, everything was perfect. The directions to the place are simple. Once we pulled into the drive we were taken away by how nice the place is and the location is perfect. Inside was extremely clean. There's comfy, plush furniture throughout the house. The bedding was clean and each room was decorated nicely. The hot tub worked great and provided hours of entertainment for us as well as the pool table. The TV's were a bit overwhelming to figure out, but instructions are posted on how to use all of the electronics. And the wireless internet was easy to get our laptops connected to. We had a group of 6 stay for 3 nights and we all were trying to figure out when we could arrange a date to come back... it was that much fun.

This will rate as one of our all time favorite trips! Extremely well maintained property with everything you need plus more. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The area is amazing. From the trail to Ousel Falls, to the zip line at Big Sky resort, to the rafting at Montana Whitewater, Yellowstone, the furry critters that visited and not to mention the non stop views from everywhere you are. We hope to be able to return in the not too distant future.

Misty Chalet is a beautiful and peaceful home. The comfy beds, wonderful soaking tub, and so much more. My family and I loved the attention to details and the well cared for home. The kitchen was so great, that I did not even mind cooking on my vacation! The location is perfect, it took us only 30 minutes to get to Bozeman. I was hoping to see some wild life on our first trip to Montana, and we saw so many animals just around the house, including a mama bear and her twins who came by one morning to visit! Dave and Virginia were so easy to work with. Their pride of ownership in this truly awsome house really shows! This is God's country. If you want to do alot of things, you can like hiking that is close by, rafting, horseback riding. Or you can just sit on the back deck with a cool beverage and look at Mother Nature at her finest! No stress, No Worries. One week at Misty Chalet with 2000 Pictures and alot of Family Memories..........PRICELESS

The Misty Chalet far exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed a fabulous week in the mountains surrounded by solid wood and comfortable, seemed to be brand new, furnishings. It is absolutely gorgeous and meticulously clean! (As a dental hygienist, I am very picky about cleanliness, and this is the cleanest vacation home I have ever stayed in.) Every detail is well thought out. We are a family of five with teenagers. The kids had fun playing pool and sitting in the hot tub and challenging the computer chess game. We watched the Direct TV in the evenings and made fires in the fireplace. Our laptop easily connected to the wireless network that was provided. We enjoyed area activities of hiking, golf, horse back riding, zip line, and white water rafting. We saw wildlife right on the property! The owner was great to work with as well. We give the Misty Chalet high marks in all areas! We obviously would return in a heart beat...we didn't want to leave when our week was up!
