How many times did we hear the question: "Why are you getting married in Guatemala?" And our answer was always the same -- "If you've every been to Antigua, you don't need to ask why!" Fortunately, several of our family and friends had Guatemala on their bucket list and joined us for our special day. Planning a week of housing, meals and activities, not to mention a wedding, gets a little trickier when done remotely, but thanks to Hernan, our plans came together perfectly! The house was outstanding and was the perfect home away from home for several of our guests. A short walk from Meson Panza Verde, our wedding site, and a short stroll from the heart of town, the house quickly became a wonderful meeting place. I can't thank Hernan enough for all his help in planning our rehearsal dinner, transportation, a hike on Pacaya, trip to Chichicastenango and Lake Atitlan. Anything I asked about, and I asked him a LOT, Hernan was quick to respond with incredible assistance. With his help, everything went like clockwork -- our friends and family were amazed at how we were able to put together such a well-planned trip. We couldn't have done it without Hernan's help! We're certain to return to Antigua soon -- and will definitely contact Hernan to help put together another unforgettable trip!

We just returned from a few weeks at Casa paraiso. What a wonderful stay we had! The house is beautiful, comfortable and spacious, the kitchen/dinning area met our needs perfectly, and the bedrooms were great. We enjoyed walking to town, is close to most of everything we wanted. And the swimming pool & jacuzzi were just perfect for an afternoon refresh. We will consider taking advantage of the house again in the future. Thank you for the amazing service and quick response on all our needs.

Pictures are accurate. Very SAFE location with gate and guard. Very quiet and comfortable. We plan to go again in January. Close enough to the city center to walk if you want. We walked to the city and took a taxi back.

Wonderful in every way!

We stayed for a week and loved every moment. The house is perfect, comfortable bedrooms, a pleasant sitting area for hanging out, modern bath with shower, well-stocked kitchen for cooking, birds singing, and fragrant flowers all around. The neighborhood is lovely and safe with friendly neighbors, and is in walking distance to town. The people in Antigua are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and Elda's cooking is divine! We would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and authentic Guatemalan experience.

This family vacation we decided to volunteer, learn Spanish and learn about an interesting culture. We decide to stay in Antigua and explore Guatemala, the house was perfect for my large family. We had a BBQ at tha pool and enjoyed so much the warm jacuzzi. The house is very comfortable, the manager was very helpful organizing transportation, tours and reservations. This vacation was very fun. We are coming to volunteer again next year, we hope to stay here again.

Thank you for all. When we arrived to the house everything was set as I asked. My guest were very comfortable and enjoyed so much the swimming pool and jacuzzi. You guys are so easy to work with, our vacation was just what we were looking for. Just perfect. Aimee

We stayed for 10 days at Casa Paraiso Colonial and enjoyed the stay very much. The house is very well equipped in all ways and having wireless internet was a big plus for my family. Before arrival we had a baby crib arranged and groceries made for us. The house was clean and Aura the cleaning lady and cook was very helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Mat, Lisa, Tommy, Allison, Jerome, Jane, Katelyn and baby Joe

Muchísimas gracias, Hernan por todos los consejos y el ayuda. Somos una familia de 6 personas y nos quedo cómoda la casa para los ninos fue precioso, y que decir de todos los tours que reservaron para nosotros prácticamente nos cuidaron como que fuéramos invitados de ellos. Gracias nuevamente.

My family and I stayed in this beautiful, lovely and well kept house for 9 days and we would do it all over again. This house is absolutely the place to stay and the owner where very kind and helpful. We rented a car and drove to many places and enjoyed walking around Antigua and taking in the beauty of this Country. I would highly recommend this house. Thanks again

The town was wonderful, restaurants were first class and the people were helpful and friendly. The home was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery of Antigua. I would not hesitate to go back and enjoy the places we missed the first time. We recommend Antigua Rentals

On a recent trip to Antigua our family stayed one week at this lovely house. This was a wonderful choice. The location is ideal for getting around town by walk. The house is spacious, all the bedrooms are large and the beds were nice. Of curse one of the best reasons to our lovely stay was Miss America, the housekeeper, having her around made it feel like we were staying at a friend's house. To sum it up our trip was more comfortable and relaxed than it would have been if we stayed in an hotel. We would definitely choose to stay there again.
