I grew up in Forks and have the great fortune of residing in such a beautiful part of the country.
Why the Owner Chose Forks
A Cozy River House II is in a small river community - an ideal location to be out-of-town and at the same time be close to conveniences, as well as centrally located to all the great area attractions such as the coastal beaches, Olympic National Park, Hoh Rain Forest, and countless rivers. AND OF COURSE, because the deck overlooks the famous Sol Duc River - it's just gorgeous!
The Unique Benefits of this House
Cozy 2 is just that, cozy. It's just the right size to accommodate a family, families, groups of friends or fishermen, etc., with plenty of individual sleeping beds - the Bunk Room with 5 beds is always a big hit! There's a big lawn for kids and horse shoes for the 'big kids'. It is perfect for family reunions, with A Cozy River House I just two houses down the street for larger groups. The views of the river are amazing! Fishermen love that there's a public boat launch to the river conveniently located just down the street. And one of THE BEST aspects of Cozy 2, being in the rainiest place in the U.S., is that it has a covered back deck - so guests can enjoy the outdoors, the wildlife along the river banks, and the river views year-round no matter what the weather brings!

Our family went to Washington State in August 2011, and we stayed a few nights at "A Cozy River House II". We were blown away when we walked into the house and saw the amazing view from the deck of the river and magnificent trees surrounding it! The pictures on the website are wonderful, but you have to be there to appreciate this incredible place. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a snack basket, points of interest information, and the relaxing sound of the river. The house was ideal for our family of four. We enjoyed grilling on the deck, hiking down to the river and fishing. The river house is also a perfect place to stay in the Olympic Peninsula as it is close to the beaches, the rain forest, Forks, waterfalls, etc... Also, our drive from Port Townsend to Forks was a fantastic journey with ocean views, winding lakeside roads, snow capped mountains, and forests. I highly recommend "A Cozy River House II". This was a perfect pick for my friend and I to celebrate our birthdays, with a couple more of our friends, for the weekend! Photos were great and helped a lot so we knew exactly what we were getting. Full kitchen helped us enjoy each home cooked meal! The house and property were very well maintained! We had a great time all day and night with the serenity of the river flowing right there. I've been recommedning this house ever since! So close to La Push and the Olympic National Forrest where we went for a hike to the hot springs. It's a GREAT get away!

Me and two of my best friends stayed at Cozy River House II for Bella's Birthday weekend, Sept 2009! Every picture and every detail listed in the description was 100% accurate! We all were sad, that we had only booked a two night stay! The town of Forks is just minutes away, but when as soon as you pull up to Cozy River House II, you know that you are away from any hustle and bustle. The sound of the river will lull you to sleep at night, and the back porch is so relaxing and almost hypnotic. The owner is very sweet, (left us a little welcome gift, upon arrival), and very easy to get a hold of, if any questions arise. This was one of my most memorable vacation spots, and I am 46 years old! I will come back to Forks, not just because of my Twilight obsession, but to stay at Cozy River House II !!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
