This is the perfect family- friend reunion getaway in Coos Bay. No smoking allowed in the house .Protected outside smoking area . Just a short walk to the bay.
Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of one of Oregon’s most eclectic cities on the Oregon Coast. Charleston Harbor 2 miles away to fish, crab or just boating. A must see is the Shore Acres State Park gives you the perfect views of seascapes and migrating whales. Or if Golf is your game try out the Sunset Bay Golf coarse (5 miles away) and The Bandon Dunes golf course is a 20 mile scenic drive. With plenty of things to see and plenty of water activities this will meet all your families expectations. 24 hour Wall mart is only a 5 min. drive.
Lou’s has 3 bedrooms , the two large bedrooms have queen size beds, one has a walk in closet which a small one could sleep. The smaller bedroom has 2 twin beds. Both living rooms have sleeping accommodations one has a hid a bed and the other a futon. With plenty of blankets and sleeping pads to sleep on the floor. The 2 bathrooms 1 has a shower/tub and other has a walk in shower ideal for the handicap . Extra chairs and tables are for your use also.
Lou’s has a small landscaped fenced front yard. The large back yard is shared with the owners.
It makes a nice place to just hang out and watch the fishing, claming and boating in the bay. Need help I live next door. We value your privacy, no maid service. We need to be notified in advance for cleaning service and you will be charged.
More than 10 people staying, I charge $10 per person per night . Pet charge of $10 per night per pet. Advance notice of pet coming. You are bring a boat or trailer I need to know in advance. So I can make sure I can accommodate.
I do have lots of space for parking.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
This spacious home is $150(Winter)-$175(summer) a night with a 2 night minimum.
Reduced weekly and monthly rates depending on the season. I have
a $200 deposit for weekly and daily rates. Monthly deposit rate is $1000.
Weekly rate is $1050 a week and monthly rates are $3,250 to 2,500 a month
More than 10 person's stay in the house I charge $10 per night per person.
One small pet accepted $10 per night. I need to know in advance about any pets
staying so I can let you know if I approve of your pet and let you know the pet
policies. I only except checks or cash.

Why the Owner Chose Coos Bay
I inherited the house from my mom, my mom wanted my husband and I to live next door to her. So we built another home attached to hers.
We have lived in our home for more then 15 years.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Just a short walk to the bay, Only 3 miles from Charleston boat launch . Several great hiking trails near by, a beach hike, lake hike,mountain hikes nearby.Also 20 min drive to dune buggy rentals. Country/woods living.

I like to sew and I have made quilts for all the beds of the rental. I love to hike, I enjoy all the great hikes in the area. I love to garden, my husband and I have horticulture degrees. I am friendly and like to visit with people, but I do respect peoples privacy. My husband loves to fish and goes fishing when-ever he can.

Our family stayed at Lou's Bay View while on a family vacation this summer. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and beautiful place to stay. There was a large living/play room with an open connection to the kitchen where we spent most of our time while inside, and also plenty of house when we wanted to spread out! Walking out the front door, you have a gorgeous view of the bay (enjoyed many amazing sunsets there), and a lush garden with a sitting area in the front yard. It can be hard to find pet-friendly rentals. We found that their pet policy was more than reasonable, and they allowed our dog. There was plenty of off street parking. The owners live next door, and are very approachable. They shared with us great hikes to try and other local secrets. I would say Lou's Bay View has more of a home-style feel than a party atmosphere, which definitely suited us. Would absolutely urge you to look into this house for your vacation!

My family has a reunion at the Sunset Beach campground every year. This year my wife and I with another couple decided to stay in a hotel. We found Lou's Bay View instead. It was soooo nice to have a Spacious home overlooking the bay. It was so much better than a hotel and very private. The owners live on the property in the back, but they didn't bother us a bit. In fact they were very helpful when we asked about fishing and shopping in the area. We loved the area and would definitely stay next year if we can get a reservation.

We have had a wonderful time visiting Coos Bay and Lou's Place was a major factor in making this trip so memorable. Coos Bay is one of the most beautiful places on the Oregon Coast. We had 2- 90 year olds and also a paraplegic who is in a wheelchair. Lou's place accomodated us beautifully. The back bathroom worked out well for the wheelchair. We all had space to enjoy and the homey decorations warmed our hearts. We certainly recommend this place to everyone. It's so much better than a motel or camping!!! and the price is so right! I'm hoping to visit it again when I get a chance.

Lou's Bay View was an excellent rental for my family to stay in and attend my son's wedding at Shore Acres Gardens. From the very start communication from the owner was informative and prompt. The home was designed to capture natural sunlight and was bright and cheery. We found the set up very accommodating for my parents, my in-laws and my husband and I to stay. It is exceptionally clean and well equipped for family gatherings. The owners were available and extremely helpful throughout the stay. There are many personal touches throughout the home and it really feels like a home and not a rental. We found everything was available that we needed and were very comfortable. I will highly recommend this property to others.

It was so relaxing watching the boats coming and going in the Charleston Bay from the master bedroom at "Lou's Bay View." As if that weren't enough to occupy one's visionary delights, just below the window sill my eyes fell upon the front yard garden with azaleas and tulips making their vibrant appearance for Spring. And no wonder! The owners, Karen and Andy, both hold degrees in horticulture accounting for the entire property giving the appearance of a paradise garden. Everywhere reflected inside the charming little cottage are handmade quilts, cross stitch stitchery and original art on the walls, collections of china and memorabilia giving the guests endless places to experience while unwinding from your busy work-a-day world. We did!!
