My son and I stayed here for a grueling weekend of dance rehearsals and performances. We didn't get in until very late the first evening, and were so relieved at the ease of check-in, and the simple comfort of the home-like furnishings and conveniences. We were pleased to find some coffee and tea in the cupboards after our long drive in! We found everything very clean, well-prepared and welcoming. We slept like rocks. My son slept on the sofa, and I on the bed, and he claimed it to be the most comfortable couch ever. It was very quiet, we heard no noises, and were so well rested the next morning. I think the only negative would be that there is no real privacy between the bedroom and living area, which is fine with a couple on a romantic weekend, but if you are staying with a child/children with an expectation of privacy, that won't be possible. As this wasn't the case with my son and I, we did just fine, and really enjoyed our stay.

Applegate Guest Cottage

The cottage is cozy, clean and very spacious. It is also close to town and the coast. It was very quiet and we were very comfortable. The owners are extremely easy to work with, always aiming to please. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Simple but satisfactory

This studio, located near a busy highway, is unpretentious, comfortable,and quirky --- with a pool table taking up a third of the studio's living area and with the owners' large, above-ground swimming pool located just beyond the studio's back porch. Its strong points are a full kitchen, a comfortable bed, and an excellent shower in the bath.

We stayed six weeks at this lovely cottage. It was the perfect home away from home. Clean, comfortable and close to all ammenities. Monica and Austin are the perfect hosts providing all the extras you need. We would highly recommmend this sweet little cottage to all our friends and plan to stay again in the future.

As the name implies this is a cottage well located to many venues in Willamette Valley.

We arrived on Sunday to find the cottage totally ready for us. The proprietors were most accomodating and the cottage was clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable, the stove worked well and the fridge was cold. The shower had good water pressure and the linens were fresh and well supplied. Location was excellent. We are hikers. There are many trails within 15 to 30 minutes. We will be seeking a reservations this year in Sept. or Oct. of this year! Our Italian Greyhound loved staying here, too.

Granny Flat in Corvallis, OR

My family and I stayed at the Granny Cottage and it was MORE than we expected. The property was spotless and perfectly maintained. Glenda was a perfect hostess, we felt as if we were her house guests. She provided us with ideas of things to do around town and beyond. The cottage was a piece of heaven!!! It had everything we could have asked for. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives anytime.

A lovely place to stay

We came to Corvallis for my oldest daughter's volleyball tournament and were lucky enough to find this lovely cottage. It was perfect for myself, my husband and our younger daughter (plenty of room for a blow-up mattress for her). Very clean and nicely appointed... there was even coffee ready for brewing in the morning. The cottage is just 5 minutes from downtown Corvallis (in Philomath), a very quiet and peaceful spot. We look forward to staying here again next year!

Glenda and Jim have created a very welcoming atmosphere in the Granny Flat. The smell of freshly baked bread greeted us and that was just one of the many welcoming touches they provided. It was the perfect place for us to base out of as we explored the area's activities and environments.

We loved staying at your guest house!! We think it's extremely cute and comfortable. So much better than a motel room. We really loved the pooltable, fireplace, cofy couch and attractive decor. Not to mention the quietness, great towels and sheets. Very cofy all around!I would recommend it to anyone. The photos on your flyer don't do it justice. Hope it's available to rent again when we're here seeing family!

Jim and I came over for yet another Army training week-end. While he was at his training I was in my cousins wedding in Corvallis. We had a wonderful time, as always at the adorable cottage. I slept like a baby in that bed! We can't wait to come again.

I've enjoyed staying here the past month. This is such a "snug" place and so quiet. It's been nice to be close to my family here in Corvallis and to avoid the zero weather in Lakeview. Everything is well furnished and this is an ideal place to spend several weeks. Thank you

I wish I could have a room like this everywhere we go on vacation. I love to be able to cook while I'm away from home. I feel very lucky to have found this place. Beats staying in a motel by far. Loved having the extra room, couches, table. It was a perfect place for my husband , myself and our 1 1/2 year old daughter. You guys seem like very nice people with a great family. Thank you!

Thanks so much for the home away from home, for the comfy bed, fluffy towels and cozy porch. "Best place I've ever stayed in Oregon!" The above quote is so true - it should be listed in the New York Times! Seriously - we have stayed all over Oregon these last few years. We love Oregon, Corvallis, OSU and Philomath and this is the best place of all! We are honored to have had or daughter graduate from Oregon State University! What a great school and great state. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay here for this last weekend. It was so comfortable, quiet, and very homelike for our family. Great host and hostess too! When we told our friends we'd be honeymooning in Philomath, we got silence & surprised reactions. "Near is the new far," we told them - and what a time it's been! We biked along the Willamette, strolled through Saturday market, paved through used bookstores, poked around in historic buildings & lingered over great meals. It''s been a wonderful 5 days and we don't want to go home. But it wouldn't have been as pleasent a visit if it weren't for the granny flat & your hospitality. A fresh pie and our favorite wine awaited us & a cozy bed. If we could we'd like to take mandi (your dog)back with uus too. Thank you so much for all the little touches & attention to detail ( not to mmention the chocolate). You have a great thing going here & we look forward to returning. With gratitude
