Peaceful year-round lake home located on the Horseshoe Chain of Lakes in Cold Spring, MN.
The Horseshoe Chain of lakes consists of over 17+ lakes all interconnected by the Sauk River. Our home is only 20 minutes west of St. Cloud and has easy access to I94.
Our home has been recently remodeled and offers plenty of amenities. The house boasts slate floors, Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, 54' big screen TV with access to PS2 & Wii gaming systems (and lots of games and accessories), juke box, air hockey, jacuzzi tub, beautiful landscaping and lots more. The master bedroom (main level) has a king bed; 2nd bedroom (main) has two twin beds; 3rd bedroom (lower level) has a queen bed; 4th bedroom (lower) has two twin beds (bunk) and a full-size futon. The upstairs bathroom has a whirlpool tub while the lower level bathroom has a shower. We also provide a washer and dryer for guest use (main floor).
The landscaping was completed in 2008 and features a two-tier flagstone patio, evening lighting, over 100+ different varieties of plants and a wood burning outdoor fire place for your enjoyment. The dock is available for guest use and a boat lift and jet ski lift can be made available with advance notice.
There are many activities to participate in while enjoying our home. These include wake boarding, jet skiing, water skiing, fishing (all major species native to MN), ice fishing, duck hunting, snowmobiling (extensive trail system), biking and more. There is also an 18-hole golf course on the Chain which is accesible by both boat and vehicle. There are numerous bars and restaurants within a 20-mile radius of our home. We provide lots of area information upon reservation so you won't be sitting idle while at our home. Ice fishing gear is available upon request.
Lake Description: The Horseshoe Chain is river-fed and the conditions and clarity change depending on the season and the weather conditions. Our home has a natural shoreline and is not conducive for swimming and we do not have a sandy area off of the dock for swimming. Thank you Mike and Katie for sharing your beuatiful lake home with us. We had a wonderful girls weekend there. Your home lived up to it's description and we were very satified. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and fireplace on Friday evening. Thank you for all the alternative things to do within the home as the weather on Saturday was not conducive to outdoor activities. We had a great time and would definitely do this again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. Our family gathered from 4 different states. The spacious areas both inside and out were great for both kids and adults. We missed a swimming area in front but since we had brought a boat we had plenty of water time. The downstairs game room was great. The place was beautifully furnished and all the games etc was nice. Yes we would recommed your place. It was much more than the description listed. Thanks again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have a very large extended family and we are spread all over the US. But we needed to all be in MN for a week for a wedding and 2 graduation celebrations. We are so happy we found Casa Del Flores. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs. Every detail was attended to. We had a great time and everyone was comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us and there was plenty to do for the kids. We appreciate all of the efforts made to make our stay a perfect one and would highly recommend this lake home as the perfect family vacation spot.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Just a short note to say what a great time we had in Cold Spring! A beautifully decorated home with all the ammenities in a quiet area just a short drive from town ! We were in search of a place with room for our family of 9 and it was perfect! The house is located on a small bay right on the lake. We enjoyed fishing both from the dock and the boat,catching catfish,small mouth bass,perch and a dog fish which was a first for us. (very odd looking ) Having our boat with us, we enjoyed the lakes every day, and they were perfect for skiing and tubing or just scenic evening cruises! Our weather was amazing and we all had an amazing time ! We would highly recomend this property! Matt and Katie kept in contact and updated us on all the details of our stay and were very helpful ! My husband and I rented this property for his birthday celebration. The photos accurately describe the house and grounds. Landscaping is lovely, and the area in the back of the house is a place where family members can gather. Potential renters should be aware that the bathroom upstairs has a bathtub with jets--no shower. The ONLY shower is downstairs. If someone has a disability and needs a shower, that's a problem. Plus in the master bedroom, all closets are locked. You have no access to any closet in the master bedroom. In fact, a lot of the closets and storage areas are locked, so keep that in mind in addition to the bathroom situation. Internet connection is often weak. We had to go elsewhere to get a better link. Fishing is primarily channel catfish, and a lot of them. The lakes are often shallow and fed by the river. I doubt that we would rent this again, but it is a lovely property. Families with children would enjoy it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
