Wonderful, wonderful place

We rented this villa last week of September 2011. My father lives in Haines City and is too ill to travel back to Ohio to see his children and grandchildren, so we came to him. The villa was absolutely wonderful and only five minutes from his home. We were able to freely go back and forth as needed for naps, lunch, etc. We had four adult women and one newborn living at the villa. Each of us had a spacious bedroom with lots of privacy, flat screen TV and ceiling fan for "alone" times. The pool was the absolute ultimate delight!! There was a pack n play and stroller we used for the baby that was a lifesaver. Villa was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. My father - who had his own construction company in younger years - said it was of very high construction standards and he could tell the best of materials were used. The furnishings, bedding, pictures, dishes were of very high qualify and very comfortable. We appreciated the villa being furnished with toilet paper, laundry, dish and dishwasher detergent and trash bags to start us off as that eliminated an immediate trip to store when we arrived - very very nice touch after long day of traveling. Pictures online were exact as were the list of amenities. The property was immaculate throughout. We found the owners extremely helpful and very easy to work with. We had many restaurants around and loved the 24 hr Wal Mart. It was ideal and we have already recommended it to several of our friends planning Disney trips. We hope to stay there again several more times thru dad's remaining years.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Haines City very much!. It was a fabulous location, as we were about 5 minutes from our event at the Lake Eva Center, as well as very conveniently close to grocery shopping. We wanted for nothing! They had a wonderfully stocked kitchen, with every utensil, plate, or bowl we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, especially in the master bedroom off the side by the pool! The towels were nice and soft, and we had an ample supply of pillows and bedding. The game room was great fun for our son. I loved the washer and dryer, and there were extras I expected to have to buy, such as dish liquid, laundry soap, hand soap, etc., but that was not necessary. The whole house was extremely comfortable and very clean. The WiFi and printer were also very appreciated. Our family of four shared the house with another family of two. It was very spacious and comfortable. Pictures of the house online were very accurate. The owners were very prompt in returning our call when we had questions about the WiFi. The yard and pool area were nicely landscaped and fairly private, even though there are several houses in the area. We will definitely be back to visit...it was a very economical vacation! Much cheaper than a hotel and your own private pool to boot!!!

This was our first time staying at a rental property, and our expectations were exceeded, to say the least. The home is beautiful, immaculate, modern, spacious, and has great amenities. After long days at the beach and theme parks it was soooo nice to be able to have room to spread out and a private pool! No crowds to deal with and no cramped hotel room! The golf course is great, the community is gated and very secure, and there are grocery stores right outside the community to get anything you need. Having a washer and dryer in the villa was great as we were able to pack lighter and wash clothing as needed. We had one small home maintenance issue (that could happen in any home) in which we needed to contact the home owners. They were immediately accessible, and they had someone out within the hour and the problem was completely resolved. To top it off, the next morning the home owner called to follow up. That is top notch customer service and they are truly people who care. We are recommending this property to all of our family and friends. We will definitely stay here again when we go to Florida.

We had a great stay here! The house was exactly as pictured and very clean and roomy! We only had 3 people stay but it would definitely be a great place to split with 2 families! Pool was GREAT and my son loved the pool table! We would definitely recommend it and would stay again! The house is also very convenient to everything!

We stayed at this home with my husband and two children and I have to say that it was the best home we have stayed in yet after several vacations to the Florida area over the past few years. The home is spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard. Small things like having access to a printer and being able to print our boarding cards before we departed for the airport to a very well stocked kitchen made all the difference to our stay and we really felt it was like a home away from home. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home, which is situated about 20 mins from Disney to other Orlando tourists. Keep up the high standards! Southern Dunes itself is a peaceful and quiet community and having Walmart just outside the gate is a bonus. There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive and quieter shopping malls close by if you want to avoid the busier Outlet malls nearer Disney. With Legoland due to open in the old Cypress Gardens park in October, this home represents an excellent mid-point base to cover all the major theme parks. All in all a great place to stay.

This home in central Flordia is an excellent place to stay when visiting the Orlando area parks, (Disney, etc). It is a 15 minute drive to the main entrance to Disney. The home is as advertised, all the amenities and comfronts of home. A super Walmart store and Publix grocery are nearby if you decide to eat in. The owners are very helpful with any questions you might have, and respond quickly to email. I will be recommending this home to anyone I know visting the Orlando area, There is an Irish pub close to I-4 that has good fish and chips, not to mention their Gensis.

My family of six stayed here for 10 days. The owners were quick to respond to all of my questions. I am quite the clean freak and I thought this property was in excellent condition. My children are of very young ages and enjoyed having their own rooms with the t.v. and also, the pool was warm was clean. We were only 20 min from Disney and everything we needed was very close. Be sure to visit Manny's restaurant. Great place to eat!

Very nice house! Nice location. Nice & clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms & baths also nicely stocked with plenty of towels & linens. Beautiful pool & patio! We really enjoyed our stay! Keep up the good work!
