  THE HOUSE WAS READY FOR US ON TIME, WE ARRIVED ON FRIDAY AND STAYED THRU FRIDAY OF THE NEXT WEEK. WALKED AND BICYCLED TO EVERYTHING.....MINUTES TO PIZZA TIKI BAR,,,,,MINUTES TO PONCE INLET GOOD RESTAURANTS.....EVERY APPLIANCE AND CONVENIENCE OF HOME.....PERFECT PLACE FOR LARGE FAMILY IF YOU CHOOSE POOL WAS FABULOUS....NEIGHBORS ARE FRIENDLY I HAVE ALREADY BOOKED NEXT YEAR

  My family of 7 stayed here for one week and very much enjoyed our stay. The house was fully equipped with nice amenities like the pool table and the bikes and beach toys. Absolutely beautiful beach nearby. The lighthouse was also walking distance. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay while being able to walk to the beach. My kids ages run from 16 down to 8 and it was perfect for everyone. Orlando was only just over an hour away so we were able to also enjoy a couple of the theme parks while we were here. Overall a very good vacation. Thank you Steve.

  We stayed here a week, and had a great time at this location. It is a short walk to the beach from the house, or you can drive the short distance to the public parking area at the beach across A1A. We love Ponce Inlet! It is a quiet, low traffic area that we have stayed in several times in the past few years. Steve's house has a nice layout with a pool table and a beautiful pool in the middle of a flower garden. I loved relaxing in the hammock by the pool, and reading and napping there. The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. If you want to stay in a quiet neighborhood that is close to the beach with Daytona nearby, this rental is for you!

  We didn't have any issues at all! There was plenty of room/living space. Kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and appliance you could ever need. Plenty of sheets and towels available. Pool was cleaned regularly. Lots of things to do and lots of room to relax. We were able to walk to the beach from the house and even ventured a little further and walked to the lighthouse. Great area, cozy home. Wonderful place to vacation overall.

  We love the location. How nice of you to have books and games for us to use. I am the only one who took advantage of the bikes and I had a wonderful ride this morning on the beach and through the park. Our family enyoyed the pool table, the pool outside, and all the TVs. They have all kinds of kitchen utensils so you can fix anything that you desire. The home is only a few blocks to the ocean or the lighthouse. We enjoyed the deep sea fishing, Critter Fleet , that was right across from the lighthouse. We plan to return again.

  The house was wonderful, very roomy, clean, with a super layout. The house really was the vacation. The kitchen had everything. We enjoyed the pool & back room. Loved the bike rides & walks in the neighborhood, it's queit and very residential, beautiful. Very comfy. The dogs enjoyed also. Thanks for having us!

  I must say this has been the best vacation we have every experienced. The house is beautiful, well laid out and very reasonable to rent. The neighbourhood is quiet and the neighbours very friendly. We enjoyed walking to the beach, riding the bikes, sitting by the pool and playing billiards. We did not venture out to much to eat, as we were so comfortable at the house making our meals there. Our favourite restaurants were the Inlet Restaurant and Down the Hatch, both within walking distance and have great seafood. Our daughter and son-in-law were very impressed with this house and the area, they really enjoyed their week with us especially at the Tiki Bar at Jerry's Restaurant. We also enjoyed the Daytona races, an experience we will never forget and were able to watch the launch of the Discovery right outside the front door. I would highly recommend this rental. Bugzee, our dog also enjoyed 3 days at the doggie spa while we were at the races. Thank you Steve for being so helpful and making our month long stay so enjoyable. We are looking forwad to a return visit next year.

  We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It is very well maintained, the location is wonderful - close to beach, eating, convenience store and the Ponce Inlet Park. The weather was unseasonalby cold so our visits to the beach were limited as was use of the pool and enclosed porch. The neighborhood was very charming, great place to walk the pets or just yourself, felt very safe. The kitchen was fully stocked so cooking was a breeze, the beds very comfortable, lots of hot water for showers and plenty of space (tv room and living room) for various activities. This location is only about an hour away from Orlando so it made it very easy to visit our family over Christmas. We all agreed that this home will stay on the list for another visit.

  This house is in an amazing location and in great shape! A couple friends and myself were in town for another friend's wedding and we didn't want to do the hotel thing so we decided renting this house was a great option. Lots of room and all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. We really liked the quiet setting and the convenient location to the beach. On top of all this the owner was really easy to work with and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable vacation house. Thanks Steve for allowing us to stay at this amazing house and for being extremely helpful!

  I was a little worried about renting a home and not knowing what I was getting into or if the house would even be there when we arrived in Florida but I have to tell you that this home is one of the nicest places I have ever rented! The owner is great to work with. Anytime I had questions he promptly got back to me with an answer. The house was clean and had everything you would need. The beds were very comfortable also so it was almost like being at home. If you wanted quiet you could stay at the house by the pool and if you wanted to go do something it was all right up the street. It was only a short walk to the beach too. I would recommend this house to anyone. You will not be disappointed!

  We have had the pleasure of vacationing here twice and fell in love with the house and the area. Coming from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta, it's nice to get away to a quiet and relaxing week at the beach. We walk to the Lighthouse every morning and walk on the beach at night. During the day, we enjoy the isolated beach and riding bikes around the peaceful neighborhood. There's great seafood in the area - Aunt Catfish's is a must and for a nearby bite, there's always Down the Hatch. We enjoy sitting by the pool at the house as well as playing billiards and chess throughout the week. We always find the house clean and inviting. We also enjoy cooking and grilling at the house to offset the cost of going out to eat every day. It's convenient to be able to have some comforts of home such as a washer and dryer, full kitchen, multiple bathrooms, TV, wifi, and a backyard. We plan on staying there again and highly recommend it as a vacation spot.

  We frequent Ponce Inlet regularly and have stayed at this property with another couple three times now. We continue to look forward to staying here in the future. There is plenty of room with plenty of things to do for inside or outside entertainment. The large open areas provide room for others to sit and relax as fun is had by the pool table or out by the pool. The house is well maintained. The neighborhood is secure, quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors. You can walk easily to the beach, marinas, lighthouse and restaurants. We've stayed at other places in Ponce Inlet including beachfront rentals, but they didn't compare to this property and all the amenities.

  We had a great week at this house which is just minutes from the beach! The kids loved boogie boarding (provided by owner) in this beautiful area. We loved going down to the lighthouse and climbing to the top which was a blast. The kids also enjoyed learning to play pool (along with actually swimming in the pool in the backyard) as they had never played on a pool table so that was a nice treat. It was really nice to have all of the amenities (washer/dryer, kitchen, grill, etc.) which allowed us to enjoy family meals and take care of everything we needed. Being one floor really helped with the little kids and also my grandma who wouldn't have been able to do the stairs. Definitely recommend the house and the area as a relaxing week at the beach.

  We only stayed a week at this rental but were very happy, and wish we were able to stay longer. Ponce Inlet is a cool little beach and fishing community. The house was clean and roomy with plenty of space for the 5 of us. Lots of toys in the garage and the pool is refreshing. It is a great spot to chill out and enjoy the beach. We shall return. Thanks

  The owner has changed the write up since we rented this home. He had advertized a telephone, broadband internet, and WiFi none of which were there. He now only says computer but know that doesn't include internet. He told us we could pick up WiFi in certain areas of the house. But what does that tell you? Also advertized that all lawn and pool care is owner provided. Not so. The pool was dirty with live oak leaves falling into the pool and the cement surround everyday. You could not keep it clean. The filter was not working and we notified him. He showed up a week later after my husband finally got it working. The home itself is nice but what you have to work with is not. You couldn't use the DVD player because it didn't have the right cords. There was no mop (well there was something but it wouldn't clean the floors) and no mop pail. No laundry basket. Tub didn't drain properly. Bikes in state of disrepair. Kayak leaks. Boogie boards is terrible condition. Light and exhaust fan over stove did not work. Fence and gate needed repairs. Need I say more.

  Owner response: What can I say? I am proud of this house! I own a beautiful home in a quiet and safe village neighborhood. Upon learning of their concerns, I offered a refund in full but they declined. I do make adjustments from time to time regarding the information on the property. These individuals were some of the first guests ever to reserve my home and booked almost a year in advance. This property is not a full service hotel. There is a mop, pail, laundry hamper and other tools for the house and pool that remain on location. Pool and lawn maintenance are provided by the owner as stated in the advertisement. I do make available to guests bicycles, kayaks, boogie boards, as well as surf boards. Many of the toys most vacationers enjoy. If these are not, "up to ones standards" then they do not have to be used. Although they were used by these guests. Throughout Florida many pools do not have a covered screen enclosure. Most vacationers are coming to enjoy the sun. Point being, leaves from foilage are going to find their way into the pool so if this bothers you there is a pool net to easily dip the leaves out. In closing, it is important to also understand that the home was rented for two individuals. Upon my going to the house, I found their adult children as well as grandchildren were staying as well. I am unsure if the distress was caused by the home or a large number of people they were attempting to care for and clean up after. If you want to be waited on, I would not recommend private home rental in the beautiful Ponce Inlet area. You may be better served to rent a hotel. In their own words, "the home itself is nice". As the owner, I understand their concerns and what could be corrected has been.
