Outstanding Condo and Location

Our family of 6 recently spent a week at this outstanding property. Not only is the condo 5 star, but the entire El Zalate complex deserves that high rating. The location right on the beach front is breathtaking. Words cannot describe the view from the huge balcony that runs the entire length of the condo. We spent many hours just relaxing out on the balcony, watching whales spout in the distance, listening to the waves crashing on the shore and watching our son-in-law and granddaughter boogy boarding in the waves. Also, a lot of time was spent with long walks on the beach and in the beautiful pools located within the complex. San Jose is nice and quiet and offers great shopping and restaurants. We did drive into Cabo for the Arch trip, which we enjoyed, but couldn't wait to leave the hustle and bustle for the quiet of San Jose. Our family has taken many winter escapes, but this one was by far the best.

Since we live in Denver, we love vacationing by the sea, and this condominium was outstanding. All rooms and the balcony offer expansive ocean views The rooms are all well-appointed for a comfortable stay...down to a complete spice rack in the kitchen. It was very hard to depart when our rental was over!

My family and I stayed at this condo for our vacation last summer. We have been to the area many times on vacation and have had some issues with condos not living up to what was advertised. JoAnne's condo was everything that was advertised and much more. It was by far the best, most comfortable place we have stayed in the area. The views from the condo were unbelievable, and everything in the condo was clean and in great working condition. JoAnne was great to work with, and even though we know the area, she had some great information. We would love to stay here again.

This beautiul condo was absolutely perfect for our extended family of three couples and our grandchild. JoAnne's description and recommendations were right on the mark. The location is perfect. We found San Jose to be far more fun than San Lucas...but we did enjoy the Arch trip, scuba, and a snorkle outing in Cabo. San Jose has amazing restaurants and the people were so sweet and kind, especially to our little one! The property is so well maintained and serene;the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Los Cabos. This is a "must go back" on our family vacation list. Absolutely amazing condo with everything...I mean everything...there you could possibly need. The Steins are easy to do business with. Feel comfortable renting from this lovely owner!

In November, we took our seventh trip to Cabo. This was absolutely the best value of all the places we have stayed. Both the condo and the location are perfect. Believe it or not, the place is even better than advertised! The views are fantastic, the unit is very well appointed, the El Zalate both friendly and well maintained, and Joanne is very helpful with recommendations. The highest praise we can give it is we will DEFINITELY be returning next year.

Best place we've ever stayed

My wife and I spent almost 2 weeks here with our daughter and son in law - just magical. I have been to Mexico around 30 times - stayed all over - this was the nicest. The condo is stupendous - nicer than our house - the pictures don't do it justice. Then, there is the beach - miles of really nice sand, very uncrowded - occasionally a vendor came along - very friendly and low key - so different from the hustlers on some Mexican beaches. The sand extends out into the water - great fun playing in the waves, warm as can be and really clean. The pools are great with lots of pool side furniture. Very low key and relaxing - much better than being at a hotel. Going into town at night was a treat - a really charming town, lots of local activities in the town square, great inexpensive restaurants. Great fishing - boats easy to charter. Apparently scuba is very good - didn't get time, but will go next time. Did NOT want to leave!!

Just returned home from this wonderful property in Cabo. It was, to say the least, incredible! All the amenities for a comfortable experience. Joanne was very helpful in answering questions and working with us as we had never been to Cabo. Her direction for restaurants and services were right on. Our best recomendation for this property...none of us wanted to ever leave!

Fantastic is one of the best words to describe the vacation my family and I spent at this condo. There were enough bedrooms, bathrooms and privacy for everyone. The condo was beautiful with all the amenities of home and the property was very well maintained and clean. Dealing with the owners was an extremely nice experience. Very helpful and pleasant. The location is great. It is near great restuarants and shopping, but I would recommend a vehicle to get around to see everything. The owner was very helpful in providing us with a list of restaurants and various stores, etc. We spent a lot of time at the condo, taking advantage of the beautiful deck, pools and beach. Everyone was very friendly. I would recommend this home to everyone I know, and will definitely go back and enjoy it again.

We Fell in Love with Cabo!

What an amazing property...photos don't do it justice. The condo is huge, luxurious, livable and a true oasis. El Zalate's beach and surf are perfect, and the old village section of San Jose del Cabo is far more appealing than Cabo San Lucas. We felt completely at home and enjoyed long dinners on the patio. This property is a true jem. Our thanks to the Stein's for a great holiday.

WOW! That's how I describe this front row seat on the majestic Sea of Cortez. The photos only give you a glimpse to the atmosphere and comfort that you find when you step through the door. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to create an ideal base for relaxation and adventure. Plus they are extremely nice to deal with and provide lots of info to help you plan your vacation. As we sat on the 1000 sq/ft balconey with gentle music wafting over the overhead stereo system, candles flickering around us, and the waves lapping at the beach below, we decided this must be paradise. You will not be disappointed (although I may be when I try to book again and the place is booked solid because of such glowing reviews!!) Thanks again for helping set the stage for a fabulous vacation!

Just returned from a fabulous Christmas holiday with our grown children at the Stein condo in El Zalate. I would echo all the other comments.....perhaps the best equiped rental condo we've ever leased. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, great lanai furniture for the hours we spent oogling the view... AND 7 perfect days of weather!!

This Condo has with out a doubt, the best location in this complex. Fourth floor end unit. The balcony which wraps around two sides of the unit looks down onto the beach on one side, and down onto the pool on the other! It is very well located just outside the town of San Jose, within a five minute drive to some very good resturants, stores etc. We will be making this trip an annual event! No need to look elsewhere for a place to stay, this home cannot be beat!!!!

This place is incredible! We loved the pulsing sound of roaring surf and fine decor throughout. The view of sea is fantastic. Sunsets are spectacular. Our family had such a wonderful time that we will go back at first opportunity.

We recently stayed at this fabulous condo. It was really a treat having such a luxurious and spacious place for our family. The views are truely amazing - we spent many relaxing hours on the huge balcony watching the surf. The kitchen was very well equipped with high end stainless appliances. The beds were extremly compfortable also. The complex has 2 great pools indeal for kids - one with a beach entry. Highly recommeded!
