No matter how far you've come, it's only eleven steps down from the back deck of this near perfect Gulf front residence to feel the sugar white sand between your toes. So if the kids want to stay in the sunshine & surf all day, dad can keep a watchful eye from the breezy shade of the covered porch, only slightly more than eleven steps to his beverage of choice in the kitchen icebox.
And mom, IF, by chance, you get enough beach activity for the day, our house is located just minutes from the all new 'Pier Park' (nearly 1,000,000 sq. ft., yes one million sq. ft., of Retail Shops & Entertainment plus a WAVE 16 Screen Theater) and the quaint but comically crowded beach communities of Seaside, Watercolor & Rosemary. The kids will love 'Shipwreck Island Water Park', even if its simply to wash off the salt, located just a ten minute drive east of the house.
Also, we have nearby a new Orvis endorsed piscatorial shop and guide service specializing in fly and light tackle fishing in the shallow waters of West Bay (boat launch less than 15 min. from our house). For those adults also seeking a little night time entertainment, Ebro greyhound park is less than a 1/2 hour away.
So there's lots to do... Maybe you should stay longer!

The beachfront home was completely rebuilt in it's original layout in 1976, simply because it is the most comfortable, flexible, functional coastal design available.
